Agree Fallowfield was a just big wind up merchant....anything for attention ha ha.

Pompey just had very strong opinions, could be sarcastic/ clever
and came across as a "know it all", however he was at the experienced end of a life cycle, probably explains his confidence.
In fact I often thought he was the forum version of Simon Jordan (outspoken Crystal Palace owner and presenter on Talksport radio)

I found I agreed or saw some validity with his views much of the time....valued his contributions so would like to see him back.

Suppose it's tricky for moderators.....how to deal with forum members who regularly cause friction and disharmony.

It's weird that last season our weakness was midfield, we didn't have one and generally by passed it.
In fact during the promotion season our midfield didn't function properly even then because we relied too much on Norwood booting it up field with the long pass but this forthcoming season.....with O'Hare, Hamer and the impressive Arblaster, Brookes etc also in midfield.

It's now our strongest area of the pitch.
It will be nice to see a more keep possession, passing style again.....like we in the early days of Wilder when we had Fleck, Coutts, Duffy, Norwood etc.

Well said mate we don't know if he is gay or not but that's his affair not ours .Anyway it is 2024 now so hardly an issue and as others have said it should be his decision if he wants to come out not any body else 's . As long has he plays football as good as people say he will do for me .

It’s made a little easier when people can’t stop calling others “cunts” for having a differing opinion and offering them out, despite being on their very very last warning and supposed to be behaving, to be fair.

I'm not pro gay or anti gay......altho I can understand pro gay activists trying to redress the balance and right historical wrongs.
For me it's the same as a player coming out saying they are straight.....I'm not that bothered/ interested either way, no desire to put a label on anyone. Statistically there must be loads of gay footballers.....thankfully it's not such a big deal these days.....nothing compared to the 70's.

A friend of mine who is gay told me he acts like he is. But I only said he may be.

But what difference should it make to anyone if he is? So what if he drives a Mini, wears a man bag ant talks like a gangsta? The only thing anyone should be interested in is how he performs on the pitch. When the season starts at least we will have football to talk about.

You have to consider the joking part though, much of it is said in jest. Let's not take away the humour, given the state of the football its all we have left after the disaster of the past year.

I cannot envisage us being bullied at all next season at all, in a championship that will be the weakest it's been in five years or more.
