People do realise, it's just O'Hare's voice, right?

If you track his career interviews back, he consistently sounds like that.

Not as weird as a 26 year old geezer from Solihull speaking like he is Ali G.
Plenty to worry yourself about in this world, but you are bothered by one of our player's speech and accent? Th fact that O'Hare is a potentially great prospect and that he'll be wearing our colours should, for the majority of Blades, be more than enough. Everything else shouldn't be our concern. The guy will soon be judged on his performances, so cut him some slack as he adjusts from one club to another.

And, listen, many of us when we, sort of, have to, like, speak in public use a linguistic strategy called a ‘filler’ which is, er, a very common way to keep our speech fluid without, obviously, awkward pauses. Obviously.

I hope he does bloody marvellous pal....I'm just commenting on his fake accent that's all, can't quite get my head around why someone would do that. Damon Alburn obviously does, why, I don't know.

Fake/not fake, I'm old enough to know that the world we now live in is so very, very different to the one I used to explore when I was younger, with all it's imperfections, what seemed to matter way back when and to have arrived at this point where I guess it's become clear to me that most of us, when we're younger, are malleable, responsive to the world around us in ways that become less important as we get older.

As I said in my previous reply, cut the guy some slack, the way he speaks is his responsibility, and I don't think he's breaking any laws by talking in ways that you find offensive. Let's hope his on-field performances are good enough to offer a little perspective, after all, isn't that the only thing we'll be hoping O'Hare can bring to the Blades?

Who said I find it offensive? I find it strange that's all. I'm currently watching Swallownest v Harrogate Railway, and none of these players seem to talk like that. Bizarre!

In which case, as it's not something you regard as that important, give O'Hare a chance to mature, if that is what he needs to do.

You sound like a stricter version of Professor Henry Higgins who deplored language that didn't conform to his own extremely harsh standards. If anything is bizarre it's that this is something you find reprehensible. As I've already said, if O'Hare shows the talent we all hope he's capable of, than I doubt anyone, other than yourself, will be overly concerned with how he, or anyone else, chooses to speak.

So I find offence, find reprehensible, I deplore, I am concerned. Funny thing is I did not say any of those things.

I saw crooked bladesman was the last comment trom
The main screen and thought this should be fun. I am not disappointed

Don't get carried away with incorrect accusations, I wrote that it was Henry Higgins who 'deplored' anything that didn't conform to his subjective version of how the English language was intended to be spoken, but I guess that in trying to validate your very personal view of how language is meant to be used you're not someone who's prepared to reflect on how the world changes, whether you like it or not.
I hope you feel you've exhausted this crusade, it's getting tiresome and very predictable.

You don't have to respond... you know that don't you? To reiterate I just don't know why someone would fake an accent - nothing more that that. If genuine, it doesn't matter how one speaks.

Have you noticed, O'Hare always has an inch heel....he's trying to make himself look taller...why can't he just be himself?

Also....he always wears a yellow wristband that stands out. ..he's an attention seeker you mark my words!

115 posts about O'Hare's dodgy accent....we did not have that many about David Mcgoldrick, and he's the only player we have signed in recent years who could actually play football. Shows how poor the football has been lately.

Good night
