Our web site www.sufc.co.uk is the public image of the club, and as such should have the highest standards, yet time and time again topics are posted that contain either spelling mistakes or mistakes in grammar, which are not just second rate but worse than fourth rate.

I don't mind coming onto a site such as this www.s24su.com and seeing / reading such mistakes, because it is individuals who are posting, but NOT on www.sufc.co.uk.

The latest is:-

"New loan signing Joe Mattock speaks to BladesPlayer after meating up with his new team mates."

I understand your beef TB. Such mistakes by silly sausages make us look like tripe.

Truly offal.

Ahem... yeah. I find it worse when news is shown on our front page which belongs to another team on the PremiumTV network.

could it not have been a 'get mi coat' style deliberate pun or an absent-minded mistake based on the lads name?

Maybe they didn't want to be seen as posh ;)

Joking apart, Sheffield United is a multi-million pound organisation, so any such errors are totally unacceptable, how ever the mistake is made.

However, I am delighted to see that the error has corrected very quickly & efficiently.

Well done United!

Are you sure it's a typo - could be the player's initiation ceremony, well the Copthorne has to get some use now.

Well if the Guardian is universally known as the Grauniad maybe we will become The Baldes. No perhaps not.
