Talks about his football in the community stuff. I went on loads of them. Even got in to the school of excellence for a bit through going to these

Which ones did you go to S6? I went to one at the old Pinegrove in S6 when I was a kid...must have been mid-90s
 
Used to go to the ones at Gleadless, went to the Saturday ones most weeks and did the goalkeeper one which got me into the school of excellence. Played a few tournaments for them. Don’t know if any of that year made it to pro or owt though

Remember the Gleadless ones well. The 1990 summer one was scorching. Pictures in the Star. Most improved player award. Good times!

I'm going to come up with something wild here...you can listen to more than one podcast. Especially when they offer totally different things. Seems the club is slowly getting into the 21st century with extended youtube highlights and now podcasts and all sorts of other features online.

It was a joke mate, I am aware that you can listen to more than one podcast, obviously.

Agree...however the official podcast appears to be player interview based, so is different to Beans podcast.
So they are not even in competition with each other so can’t really be compared,
Enjoy both formats though,

I think the extended highlights have come because of a contractual thing with the EFL that we are no longer bound by
 
I was 14 years old when TC started playing for the Blades. My teenage Bramall lane experience was magnified by the players he recalled during his first and last game for the club. Formative is the word. ;)

I still don’t know what a podcast is but you sound miserable.
 
Christmas Day Wilder; Superb timing and a blessed relief from the maudlin Christmas music for all of us who will be slaving/drinking away in the kitchen on the morning/afternoon of December 25th.
 
On the Wilder podcast preview over on Facebook (which will be released on xmas day). They’re talking about some of the players from the 5-2 defeat at Arsenal. Wilders last game under Bassett

They mention Sid. Was that Dane Whitehouse?

Not at home so can’t check my old programmes but think they said it was 21 Sept 1991.

I’m hoping they have plans to do one of these with Whitehouse in the near future.

TC mentioned a few who went on the Football In The Community event that made it. He mentioned Billy, Slew and Spencer who went to the Saturday Club. I missed Spencer’s last name, any ideas?
 



My memory is terrible especially when people are saying which one they went to I just remember meet TC and a lad called mark at the where went I can’t remember
