O hare

Great performance yesterday. Could have got on the scoresheet first half when he was running into the box, centrally, but seemed to take an extra touch and then snatched at the shot, which was well saved if I remember correctly.

Getting better as the season progresses.

He was great yesterday. So busy and he linked up very well with Hamer. My only criticism is he sometimes holds onto the ball for a split second too long and then looses it.

But, overall he’s improved massively in the last couple of months.

Dare l say it, but this is a tick in the Cannon column for me. We have O'Hare (brilliant) and Moore (good) who seem a touch reluctant to have a pop at the critical moment. Cannon, by all accounts, loves a flash shot, so if he can get into the same positions as Moore and O'Hare find themselves, we could see more shots on target.

Had a great season and given the amount of ground he covers, the time hes on the pitch and that he has the ball a lot in tight situations he's been remarkably robust for someone with quite a slight physique

He reminds me of when I was about 7 or 8 and we would just run around the park (fields!) playing football for hours and never get tired because you just loved it.
Call on all your mates at 9am, go home for a drink and some crisps for energy and then get called back in for tea at 5pm.
When he goes over to the touchline to get a drink or chat to Wilder, he runs there and back, he makes me smile 🤣

His defensive workmate was always there but he really struggled to make attacking input earlier in the season. Now, he's doing both, causing opposition defenders all kinds of problems. When he gets into good areas his decision making has improved so much and he looks a lot more confident on timing of passes and carrying the ball.

I think he's back to where he was before the ACL tear on Bixing Day 2022

There was a pass on to his right, think it was Burrows (not sure what he was doing there!) who was in space and would have had a clear shot on goal (and a hat-trick as it transpired).

Me and my mates do all this but we’re 63

Thought he might have been one that flatters to deceive and drifts in and out of form. A bit part player that can be really good one week and really poor the next.

Whilst he gave off these vibes early in the season and wasn't fully firing, he has to be fair to him always kept up a tremendous work ethic and if anything he just seems to work harder and harder even when we are in punishing schedules. He looked knackered yesterday but then a few days later he's ready to go again like a duracell bunny. Added to the fact that he is a very skillful little player, means he's fast becoming one of my new favourites.

I also think having a decent coaching team around him and CW as his manager will be pushing his standards to a new level. Great little player. 🤩

I am 61. What am I doing wrong!
I would last less than 2 minutes.
Probably being a 'little' overweight and drinking too much might have something to do with it.
Answered you’re own question

All of us are in our 60s but we are all over 6ft 2 , weigh in around 13.5 stone and have waist sizes around 32-34 inches .

Must be our natural metabolism ?

Our football team is called Handsome Athletic

echo others thoughts, i’ve been critical but he’s improved and is more consistent now with a higher quality output. Keep it going and we’ll have a good player on our hands 👏

Well I could get fitter, working on that.
But still wouldn't be able to be selected on the aesthetic criteria.

'I was handed down the looks of a man with a broken nose'

There's a couple of aspects to his game that I find infuriating to watch.

The most frustrating is his lack of strength with his back to a defender, in these duals he often loses the ball too cheaply or falls over. Ndiaye, for a similar build, could retain possession & keep our attack going.
The other frustration is when he has time to take a touch & pick out a run he will weight the pass terribly. He's much better with first touch passing or flicks.

Despite the above, his workrate is excellent and yesterday he played a crucial part in preventing the Norwich CB's from playing out.

He is without doubt one of the best players we have sign in years and his partnership with Gus is amazing. I love watching them both. Anyone with criticisms of this guy has no concept or experience playing the game.
I love the enthusiasm he has. It genuinely brings a smile watching him play. His reading of the game when breaking things down, nicking the ball and starting counter attacks is top class.
I think he is a crucial cog when we are playing well and we'd miss him hugely when he isn't available for any reason.

The great thing about his partnership with Gus is that they both try to play the killer pass. We have to accept that such passes can’t succeed 100%, but even when it doesn’t work, it makes sure that the opposing defenders are on edge, not knowing what they will try next.
