It sounds like it from what Edwards has said, but until I have seen it I am not sure it is fair to comment. Edwards also said that in the lead up to the goal Monty decided to try a clever one touch pass and gave it away, instead of just hitting the corners.

Believe me, it was horrendous - worse than the Wednesday fuck up. He was not under any real pressure and came to punch a ball a competent goalie would have caught. The punch travelled about 3 yards and landed at the foot of an Orient player who promptly despatched in to the goal.

The whole thing came from a free kick which Maguire rather needlessly gave away.

If only it was as easy as wanting to get rid of him. From what I have heard (which may or may not be even close) he is on approx £15k a week, now who would pay him even a third of that? And would he move for a massive pay cut? I doubt it, think we're stuck with him until the contract runs out, and in my opinion Long is nowhere near ready. Think Darren's suggestion on the other thread that he stays put and lets the CB's deal may be the best option.
