comes across as a bit of a tosser in that interview. Only been offered a basic increase ? You could cry for him.
Kin El! Thought the Jamie ward one was bad enough!

Great player but couldn't get way quick enough
Like Harry, they've moved on and so have I. If they don't want to be at the club that's their perogative. Me personally, couldn't care less about em now. The only players that interest me are the ones that want to be at our club. Players that want to wear the shirt
A contentious, selfish view perhaps but that's the way I see it
The continuing affection for the Everton player, Jagielka, who couldn't give a fuck about our club, is particularly misplaced.
The Jagielka I remember could have left for Premier League football in the summer of 2005, was talked into sticking it out for one more possible promotion push by Warnock, and was subsequently a key part of that promotion-winning team - only leaving when we'd been relegated, because he wanted to continue in that league. Which was completely understandable, and his career since has proved it to be the right decision for him. I would say it's your ill-feeling that's replaced. I hope it's got a bit more to it than simply the Wigan handball.
They can keep him, any player who goes to the media about a matter what should remain private between the club and player says everything about him. He's been offered a new contract on improved terms, he is just trying to play the club and if they don't give in he will move to someone who does offer him better terms. Sounds familiar to me.
There is only one person who knows whether the hand ball was deliberate or not
There are people who think it was deliberate? (for any reason other than wanting to win the game. I can accept he may have had a moment of madness and thought he might block a goal and get away with it). Are you seriously saying there is/was a suspicion he may have hand-balled so he (and he alone) could stay in the Premier League, at the expense of his club, fans and team mates???
I'm going to file this one under "dubious" (along with chemtrails, the Royal Family being lizards from another planet and Elvis being found living on the dark side of the moon).![]()
Ah so he wants to hold Wolves to ransome never done that before has he. I said at the time Danny Wilson was way too soft with him when he was ummming and arrrring about signing a contract with us, we should have fooked him off quick sharp rather than give him a ridiculous release clause because at the end of the day he was off as soon as someone offered more cash. Just a greedy bastard in my view who will never stay anywhere for long.
The Jags handball has always left a sour taste for me. I hope it wasn't deliberate
It certainly was deliberate, or it wouldn't have been a penalty! The question is why did he deliberately handle in the penalty area from a pretty routine cross? So far as I am aware he hasn't done it before or since.
I don't ascribe any sinister motive but I would like him to at least to have had the courtesy to explain. He didn't mention our club when interviewed about his "dream move" to Everton and hasn't since. Whatever his motivation, sinister or stupid, the fact is he didn't, and doesn't, give a fuck.
Unlike, to name but a few of many, Bob Booker, Kyle Walker, Neil Shipperley, Harry Maguire, Paul Devlin and Nick Montgomery, he is never seen at our games or showing the slightest interest.
That's why I have no time for the Everton player Jagielka. As Sirius says, he is not a Blade in any shape or form.

Fair play not filtering those examples
Strangely I remember Devlin leaving in poor circumstances. His form certainly deteriorated as he tried to get that move back to Birmingham.

I saw it as a deliberate handball thus guaranteeing a move to Everton the club he has always supported, had we stayed up he would not have got the move back to Merseyside.
My recollection of the handball incident was that he was pushed in the back by Emille Heskey and it was an involuntary arm in the air to maintain balance that caused the handball. I could be wrong but that is how I saw it from TV replays.
And yet there was no protest when the penalty was awarded and neither the Everton player nor his big-nosed manager have ever made this claim!
Has he not been pushed in the area since? A lot of it goes on these days and I'm not sure the hand in the air is the natural bio-mechanical response to a push in the back.
