The problem I saw with the whole thing was that the system prior to the substitution and change of tactics was working and we were looking more and more like equalising so why did Robson decide to change it? Whether it took balls or not, it was a bad decision. Even if he did know what he was doing, he was wrong! (In my opinion, of courseI still don't think it was particularly 4-5-1.... Carney and Martin were pushing on to support Hulse in a 4-3-3.
Armstrong added some pace and effort and often pushes forward well.
Could see exactly what he was trying to do, it didn't work, but it took balls to try it.
Especially given a sniff of any possibility of 4-5-1 and people start chucking their toys out of the pram.

Thats the thing... whether he was right or wrong, I was just saying what I saw him to be trying. Many seem to think that it was a simple go 4-5-1 and shut up shop, but thats not what I saw.
Ultimately it didn't work as we didn't go on to win the game, there is no saying that 4-4-2 would have either.
TBH watford wasn't anything special and neither were we. There was only 1 team going to win it towards the end and that was us, so the 3rd substitution had me scratching my head.
Booing tonge when he came on was a disgrace, shouldn't happen to any player.
I though Claude Davis was back at the lane when i first went to my seat.
Strange positioning from the strikers too. Hulse was on the last man and shelton the other side of him. When hulse wins the flick on, shelton is nowhere. Hulse should drop and leave shelton on the last man for the flick ons and balls forward. he wants to stay on that last man.
What a header from morgan too to set up our goal, beat 4 of there players in the air to the ball.
If only we started with the energy we did after 45 minutes at the beginning of the game
