He will have to "toe the line" he's out in the open now his mates gone, to these new owners, if they back him, ( which theve got to ) they will want results, if not he might be out on his arse! To Americans it's a results based industry.

It’s unfair to assume that all American owners have the same views. Perhaps more importantly these guys are successful in business and any business depends on the quality of its workforce.
Clearly results give some insight into the managerial abilities but there are other factors to take into account in the short term.
