Firstly that comment wasn’t directed at the post, it was a general comment which should of been sent as a normal reply to the thread.

Anyway he’s made a post saying he thinks ā€œWEā€ will not get 2nd and then rambling on winding up other fans on the forum above. It’s a Sheffield untied fan group. He’s a Middlesbrough fan on here for a wind up acting as a blade in his posts for attention. Not a strange response at all. He needs removing.
He acted a United fan for 1 post. Admitted to being a boro fan in his 2nd.

Leave him be. Those that laugh last and all that

Well done thick twat
Waiting until we get a good result to make your moronic comment, when one result doesn't actually take away anything I said.

If you read the rest of the thread I also said I will be delighted to be wrong and will be the first to praise the team if I am.

Why can't they ?
They don't have to anything incredible any more, they've already done that

All they have to do now is get four points more than us over TWELVE GAMES

You better face facts sunshine, Sheffield United are about to do the biggest "Sheffield United" in their history.

A "Sheffield United" of such biblical proportions that it will ruin the club entirely.

A "Sheffield United" of such biblical proportions that will mean that anybody over the age of 60 will probably never see a decent Sheffield United team ever again.

Two seasons in the Prem and three seasons of parachute payments means that over £300 million extra money has come into the club over 5 years.

And we have managed to cobble an average team together that is boring and about as painful to watch as anything Kevin Blackwell and Mickey Adams put together, plus have an enbargo forced upon us.

Some clubs are dangerous with money because they spend it on too many good footballers, and some are dangerous with money because they haven't got a clue what a "footballer" is.

Sheffield United are definitely the second type

Second is gone, not because we lost a few games, but because the majority of the team are unfit, have no footballing common sense or ability, feel sorry for themselves and have zero bottle.
Yep definitely zero bottle here.

Foxy please remove this Middlesbrough fan. Creating threads saying ā€œI think Middlesbrough will take 2nd now šŸ˜”ā€. Get him gone the cunt.
I’m not going anywhere unless kicked Bill & I’m a cunt šŸ˜‚ what a whopper

I came clean after about an hour of joining your forum being a Boro fan just wanted to see what the blades faithful reaction was. ā€œHad this conversation with you lot weeks ago šŸ‘Ž & I’be tried to change my name to a Boro one straight after if I knew how too I will, you obviously haven’t read all my posts and just picked up on it now..

Momentum and confidence are both signifanct factors in football. They look to have both. We have neither at the minute.

He's got you a tad rattled fella šŸ˜„
It’s called friendly banter I was hoping for
To be honest mate the Boro faithful are realistic that we, Luton and Blackburn only have a chance & a decent one but your team are still firmly in the driving seat 4 points clear and every team goes through a rocky spell including us. Whoever gets 2nd this year fully deserves it in this brilliant Championship season..

Just need to take care of business at home.

Win the remaining home games. You can then either draw your away games, or to the same effect win two of them but lose four.

That would mean even of Boro won 9 and only lost two it wouldn't be enough. Or they could win 9, draw one and lose one and it comes down to GD. That's a huge ask to be getting 9 wins when you still have 4 from the top 8 to play.
So we lost at home which was disappointing but if we base on winning your home games, winning two away games and losing 4 then we just need one ā€˜make up’ win.

Boro have now dropped points in one of only two matches they can drop points if we perform to this level.

Both I think could drop more but we have a good record against these teams both last year and this.

Boro have left the door open now. Time to slam it in their faces!

Not being negative but I am realistic to the facts that unfortunately I think Boro will beat us to automatic promotion now šŸ˜”

Yes we are 4 points clear with a game in hand but their form and fixtures are way way better than ours with 14 yet to play plus they have the best striker in the Championship with Akpom plus Archer & attacking midfielder’s that also are on fire.

If so I think we will still go up through the playoffs though.

What do other members think? I’m just being realistic taking my blades rose tinted glasses off..
Looks like 'boro have blown it.
In last the 6 games, Luton and Rovers have picked up more points and Millwall are only one behind.
Just 4 points drop and 'boro don't even get a look at the playoffs.

#fuckedit

Seriously, sorry for your mates dog. I know exactly what that its like to lose a dog it’s like losing a best friend and a family member šŸ˜”. I don’t log on every day I have better things to do but when I do I try to answer all the understandable abuse thrown my way. It’s only banter Biggie, chillax mate! It’s a lot more likely your team will get 2nd but we have a good chance. I will be here until the end to celebrate Boro’s half a chance of automatic promotion, or to congratulate your team and will take the egg on my face.
I notice the 50+ year old smoggy bantermeister hasn’t been seen since their plucky draw v Stoke. That’s despite him saying he’d be around win or lose.

He can’t have many better things to do as he claims, he had the time to create a Blades supporting persona, a monumentally pathetic thing to do, particularly as a middle aged person, whilst claiming to have done so in the interest of research. His cover lasted about an hour. Deary me.

Yeah because they drew !

If they pip us for second.. Blades11 will not be first thing on my mind. And if get second, Blades11 will not be the first thing on my mind.. meanwhile, a bit of mostly good natured banter is never a bad thing.

He’ll be back when Boro win and we lose a game.
He was full of shit from the start. There’s no way he came on a rival club’s forum for the ā€˜bants’ he came on here to wind everyone up cos he believed Boro were going to finish 2nd at our expense (they still might) it’s how some people get their kicks… it’s a bit pathetic really.

Be around win or lose ……but they drew
Just saying

Bit of an easy one for Boro yesterday.

I wasn’t overly impressed with them even at 2-0. Preston pegged them back early but were so impotent. They then parted like the Red Sea for the first and the second was laughable. Boro didn’t need to get beyond 2nd gear, Preston were giving presents so much. Game was up then, heads dropped, just a question of how many. If they play anything like that at the Lane it should be a similar result. They’ll have even less to play for by then too.

If anything, it is the upcoming games vs Norwich, Burnley that may decide it.

As mentioned on one of the threads comparing results, United didn’t lose any of the comparative remaining fixtures last year.

This week Boro and Luton dropped two points and United dropped 3, having started the week with 7 points difference to the nearest chaser.

United already had the comparative easier fixtures.

This week has seen United remove a top 8 team and a middle 8 team. So now we have just 2 top 8 teams to play, 4 middle 8 teams and 3 bottom 8 teams, average position 14th.

Boro has 4 top 8 teams to play, 2 middle 8 and 2 bottom 8, average position 11.3.

United have a tough few weeks with Wigan at home sandwiched between two difficult games against Norwich and Burnley. It may well be we drop a few there. But then our opposition level drops to 15.66 for the remainder of the season.

In the same period, Boro play Huddersfield, Burnley and Bristol City. Their opposition is then 10.8 which signifies a tough run in with 3 top 8 teams, Rotherham and Hull.

Pull off a surprise(ish) win against either of Norwich or Burnley then and I think the task will pan out as being insurmountable for Boro.

In true blades style well beat Norwich and Burnley then lose to Huddersfield, Wigan and Cardiff

Just wondering...... if Akpom and Archer can single handedly blow teams away every fucking game, why can't Ndiaye and McBurnie do similar for us?

The combined ability level isn't all that different

Yet Boro win every game 3-1, while we're lucky to scrape a 1-0

That is the crux of why we are twitchy and grumble, even though we've been top or second all season: apart from Burnley it has never felt like we've truly dominated a team. Too many have been sketchy, skin-of-our teeth wins, even against wank opposition.
Wouldn't it be lovely to see us take the foot off the brake and just hammer someone?

It seems to be a club DNA thing. I can't remember any sustained period where we've played freely with the handbrake off

And if anyone wants to suggest the possibility that it is simply pace that explains the difference between the impacts of Akpom/Archer and Ndiaye/McB........ it's almost like we should bother to sign some of the stuff occasionally then isn't it

Because they have carrick and we have Gareth

Any other questions ?
