I think we're gonna struggle in the first few games, cos we have too many players. Gonna take a while to figure out what the best team is. When you sign a load of players, thats always likely to happen.

Firstly in my opinion these pure season games are for fitness and that's about it. The team will gel in training as much as in a game. Secondly if you were to take the Burton game as seriously as some have you would be looking for eleven new players. Finally and most importantly the Manager (for once) seems to have a plan and is going about his business professionally but quietly. I can only talk for myself but I like that about him.

I love that about him. But it would be incredibly unrealistic, and even more incredibly boring, if we shut down all opinion and discussion because "the manager knows best".

Not nece-celery, Charlton had a silly turnover of players in the pre-season before they went up and came flying out of the blocks. But there are many ways to bake a cake. Only one to eat them though. yum cake.
