At a guess.. I think its because there's no room for a third LB having Burrows and McCallum fit. 20 man squad so unlikely to have 3x LBs when we have no RBs (yeah i know)

If Doherty isn't fit, I'd rather give Burrows or McCallum a go at RB rather than Choudhury.
Failing that, I'd reluctantly move Tanganga over.

This is what I don’t really get in the circumstances.

Kitching will be left centre back, left footed decent in the air.

We have Tanganga, Baptiste and McGuinness all available for right centre back as their preferred position.

Tanganga has played 15 matches in the Premier League at right back, 20 time sun total for Spurs. I’m duplicating from anofher thread but why, with two other proper centre halves to fill in for him, would it be perceived better to have an out of sorts defensive midfielder at right back than someone with Premier League experience there? Even if he is better at CB, there is a world of difference between the level he would provide and Choudhury being open all the time.

I jus hope his suspension opens the way to close the door on him playing there.

I’d like to see him in CM in a few instances. It might be a fairer way to judge him.
