Sheffield lost 0-3 today sadly, so the FA Trophy dream is over for another season. Bit of a harsh scoreline to be honest.

Nice to bump into Large Mendonca Small Mendonca and SwissBlade today at least.

First time down to see FC today. Nice to see you all as well. I was on my best behaviour as I was with the missus

Sheffield FC were very poor, wasted a lot of the possession they had and a lot of the players looked like they were much slower than Frickley Athletic. No 3 and no 11 looked decent players for Sheffield though. No 8 for

Good to see you both too! FC have been like that all season, they could well be facing a relegation scrap this year, which would be a shame as the NCEL is very difficult to get out of.

Haha Swizzler

Haha Swizzler on best behaviour!

Wilder was at Hallam today taking full advantage of the ability to drink during the game.
He was still there when I left at about 8. Not sure how well he will play today.

Also, it paid off for Hallam to offer free entry to season ticket holders elsewhere. They had a crowd of 466, more than double anywhere else in the same league. The bar was heaving until about 7.30, so they definitely recouped any losses revenue.

Well...what started as a nice scenic train trip turned into a bit of a nightmare thanks to a pretty horrible game and some oiks who couldnt handle their carrier bags full of fruits of the forest cider causing trouble in the last 20 minutes.

I had the misfortune of bumping into them at Hereford station and then tagging along with them all the way to Ludlow and the mile walk to the ground...

Heres one of them enjoying himself..

Got a mate in Ilkeston so try to make the effort to see them with him a couple of times a season.Always feels good to stand next to the side of the pitch with a pint.
They are wank though!

All three of our non league clubs have stadiums that are a reight trek if you don't own a car. If Sheffield FC move to the Olympic Legacy Park I imagine they'd get a boost in attendances as it's on the tram route and pretty easy to get to

Stocky is the only one that's a trek.

Both Hallam and FC are 20-25 mins by bus from the city centre, on the 51 and 43 respectively.

Handsworth parramore managed to get a decent gate of 225 Saturday. It was a great game 3-0 up only to concede 2 late goals for a nail biting finish. When they eventually locate back to olivers mount (Handsworth) from Sandy lane(worksop) they will hopefully benefit from even better attendances.

I was working on the wireless covering North Ferriby United and FC United.

3 a-piece and a cracking advert for non league football. Some great goals too!
