I think most clubs pay a company (prozone etc) for access to stats and video analysis on their games nowadays, although might not be true of league one. Clough strikes me as a bit of a traditionalist and probably didn't have much truck with newfangled methods, (I could be wrong, anyone know?) anyone know if Adkins has a reputation for using technology like this at Southampton?

Last season SUFC had staff recording every game last season. I have bumped into the people who's job it is at games a few times. I think this is also how they put full game highlights on BladesPlayer.

Someone said Nigel Clough wasn't a fan of such analyses.

United's performance analyst Mike Allen has been here for several years and will work with Adkins as well.

I suspect he'll want to recruit when he takes a look at what's around him.

Possibly worth noting when he took over at Southampton he had three future England internationals already sat in the squad.

Maybe so but did they look like future internationals at the time?
