I'm afraid WalthamstowBlade was way ahead of you with that disrespectful and un-necessary insult. That is why, GRUMPY BLADE, I make no apology for responding in kind in relation to a manager I have as little time for as some of you have for Weir, namely Muckanettles Morgan.

Morgan is a better SUFC manager than David Weir who, in that capacity, was a useless cunt.

I have a lot of respect for Morgan. He has been a loyal servant and good contributor for SUFC.
I can see no valid argument for you, to use your words, to be disrespectful and give un-neccessary insults about him.
As for Wier, I have no respect for his footballing tactics as he proved he was clearly clueless in how to win games.
Good riddance.
I want a manager who will organise the team to win games that is all.

Then you are easily pleased and naive.

Are you seriously suggesting that David Weir can be freely insulted but not Chris Morgan? I do hope not.

I am pleased with a win. One I hope of many. naive, in what way?
David Wier came, he tried, he failed. Therefore he leaves himself open to insult.
Morgan is still untried as a manager therefore the jury is out, for me. You on the other hand have already made your decision, one I disagree with.

No one with a genuine desire to do well for SUFC deserves to be insulted. It didn't work out for Weir and he lost his job as a result. He tried and wasn't good enough but doesn't deserve abuse.

Morgan deserves the appreciation he gets from 99.9% of Blades because he was a great captain and servant to the club. He's also doing a reasonable job as caretaker currently and seems to at least be getting a reaction and some effort out of the players. Morgs is a club legend and has my respect.

I will support any manager who does their best for the club, while they are still in the job. But his strategies for promotion were clearly not working and he was rightly sacked. That imho makes his tenure on a par with Andrian Heaths time.

I'll give you this, you haven't resorted to hypocrisy. I await responses from GRUMPY BLADE , Gibbo89, alcoblade and Rodley.

No pretence in what I said - Morgan doesn't warrant the insulting.

Little tale for you

Four guys walk in a busy bar, three go to the bar, one stands at the back on his own. One of the three orders a round of pints and the three start to enjoy theirs, the guy at the back shouts “pass mine back to me”
The three pass the pint back into the crowded bar and request it gets to their mate who is still out on his own.
As the three guys finish their first pint one lines up the next round but the friend on his own says “don’t bother with me, I’m still waiting for my first one, it’s still being passed through the crowd but I’m happy with that.”
The next round of drinks are consumed and the third friend at the bar says “my shout, same again?”
“I’m OK” comes the call from the back of the pub, “I’m sure mine will be here soon”
The three friends get their third beer and decide they can’t leave matey out on his own so make their way backwards, sideways through the crowd to on his own matey.
Getting there as they finish their third pint they ask “Where’s your beer?”
“It’s here, told you it would get passed back to me”
“But half of its been spilt” state the group of friends, “told you to stick with us”
“It’s not a problem” says Pinchy, “my glass is half full”

We were drinking lager. I was doing my best not to have any.

I completely agree with you, the change of manager was completely justified and should have been done sooner really. My main point is that the man doesn't deserve insults and abuse for that. His intentions were good, he wanted to succeed but paid the price for his poor performance.

It could be argued that his time as manager was worse than what Heath produced in all fairness. Still a decent bloke and I wish him all the best. Hope he's learned from the experience.
