IF we brought Brayford back I don't think he could play on the right of a back 3. He's not good enough defensively. He would displace Freeman and I'm not convinced he deserves to.

Well, one way of looking at it is that we're going into Christmas in the top two so EEL has been part of a side that so far has been on promotion form (especially since we didn't have him at the very start when we had some poor results). From that perspective, I really don't want to have to go out looking for replacements for players that are already here and doing the business. We only want to bring someone else in if they're better than what we've got.

The other side is, as much as it's fun to have some characters back in the team we can celebrate as heroes, he's not that good. He's not as good as Maguire was. There's a reason Wolves let him come here on a long term loan and, honestly, I wouldn't look to sign him permanently if we went up (unless he shows signs of improvement, which he may well do).

I don't think EEL is THAT good but it would be a shame if he was recalled. Although we've only lost 1 game in the league since he's been here so you can't argue with that!

I wasn't specifically referring to that incident Matt. I just thought Landell along with a number of other players didn't play particularly well. As for EEL, I just thought he wasn't his usual commanding self

Wilder said as much in his post-match interview, and good on him too!

While Freeman has had a good season, Brayford would be a vast improvement as wing back for the simple reason he can deliver a lot more quality (of crosses) in to the box.

Personally I don't think we'll get him back in January, not paying his wages freed it up to bring in EEL, Lavary and Lafferty, I don't think we could afford to have him back. If we go up, next season for sure get him back.

Everyone knows how these things work - that Burnley supporting twat A Campbell was the master of spin (true or false) - An EEL replacement might be bollocks - but Wolves don't know it's bollocks. What I would expect is CW to know how to resolve the problem of ELL going back.
