Once again SYP should go and ask their BIG brothers on the other side of the Pennines (GMP) as to how to manage games of football.

There is something fundamentally wrong in how SYP treat football games. It's like being at school.

Has someone got a batphone to call the SYP commissioner - Alan Billings? He needs to start explaining a few things as to competency levels.

i know the Clubhouse on London Road has done a ticket system (and now sold out) but does anyone know what';s happening elsewhere?

I normally drink in the Cremorne and I've tried to ring them over the last couple of days about a dozen times, but it just goes to answer m/c.
If SYP won't allow standing outside, then small pubs like the Cremorne will have an issue. If they're not doing tickets then the only other way to be sure of getting in, is getting there very early.

Any ITK out there?

British police familiar with behaviour of English fans will be on duty at 2018 World Cup in Russia

The 2018 World Cup in Russia is set to have British police officers on patrol.

Authorities in the United Kingdom are anticipating a formal request from the Russian Police within the next three weeks for assistance at this summer’s tournament.

The idea will be for Britain to send a team of officers who are already familiar with the behaviour of English fans, so that any threat of trouble is kept to a minimum. Daily Mail link!!!

With Ben Needham & Madelaine McCann, no wonder we never see any police - except where it suits them.
