This mean I can't get home after the game.
I wouldn't worry about this TOO muchFucking embarrassing.
And who are various stakeholders?
God help us if we ever make it into Europe and draw Feyenoord or somebody.

Youd have thought if there was one force in the country that had experience with overcrowding itd be SYPEr, SYPD? So the overcrowding at the ends of both John Street and Cherry Street isn't a safety hazard? I wish the cops would fuck off and get on with what they're good at - investigating 'hate crimes' and arresting wolf-whistling builders.
It’s getting to the point where we would be better off without away fans. We have reached the tipping point between atmosphere advantages and inconvenience disadvantages.SYP couldn't control access to 6 turnstiles against the Pigs meaning they were limited to 3. Unlike every other police force in the country they are not capable of controlling 2,000 away fans. A 2,900 away capacity has been reduced year on year to 2,100 this season. A large block in the BLUT corner is unavailable for this match. Add to that the usual segregation of numerous front rows and the BLUT will look sparsely populated tomorrow.
Not only do SYP control the streets outside the ground but they now control ticket sales meaning tickets are impossible to obtain for the casual fan who doesn't have 500 points and numbers are considerably reduced in certain stands. Add to that input into Kick off times meaning we will never ever again see a local derby kick off on a Saturday at 3 p.m.No doubt the latest round of impositions is influenced by the piggy MP fabricating stories about crowd congestion.
SYP will constantly find ways to disrupt high profile SUFC games and inconvenience the supporters, its too much of a ball ache for them to police. Fans in the BLUT, Westfield and South Stand face the prospect of all exiting at the same point tomorrow. So much for the weak arguments from SAG that available tickets in stands are reduced because of problems exiting the ground.
I just hope the local Stasi haven't shut the Lord Nelson again tomorrow so I can get a decent pint before the game.
Probably Sky TV haha!Who ? >> "Following discussions with relevant stakeholders"
Fucking embarrassing.

I noticed the segregation at Villa v Brum was a line of stewards...why we have to have thousands of seats unavailable is beyond me...The barriers outside and closing off roads is totally unnessasary for me..it's not the 70's or 80's ffs,and why are the barriers only used at the Lane?...Put some temporary camera's up and anyone causing trouble will be easily identified and many will think it's not worth it...Put them behind a Police line or Barrier, and people feel a lot braver, and gather to shout abuse and throw stuff knowing they can't be hot at.
This old fashioned method is probably the best, and, in the spirit of Airplane, don't call me surly.Dont have any barriers, keep away fans held for 15 minutes while home fans disburse and jobs a good'un surly?
I can’t agree with that. The seventies showed that if you didn’t separate and police supporters they would actually start fighting. In quite large numbers.I've said it many times before, but i believe that segregation and police measures contributes as it generates more of an atmosphere because the idiots can't get to each other - if they could, they'd probably not behave as badly in case they got a slap. Putting dead zones in place like a Korean or Cypriot demilitarised zone and SYP making these big statements about expecting trouble etc just add to the hype. Instead of talking football it becomes about the ring of steel.
Sad to say that i think that these measures are probably right for this game, its a big, big game for both clubs and we both have our trouble makers which we can't shift. But it has to be addressed better in future games.
Sorry, i meant outside the games.I can’t agree with that. The seventies showed that if you didn’t separate and police supporters they would actually start fighting. In quite large numbers.
