Depends if their as daft as us (regards buy option for Soumoure).

I can see it being pretty much same fee as we have paid maybe £500k-£1m more?

Unfortunately it is what it is, if hes not pulling trees up in training and if what roy said is true and we dont make a loss then I wish him the best of luck and we move on.

It's a shame we havn't had the chance to view & judge him ourselves as supporters.

Bringing in someone who isn't even 21 and offloading them after one season for all intents and purposes break even money is ridiculously stupid business.

The narrative is he hasn't been picked ahead of a limited defender.

That wouldn't be for fun. It's in the clubs own good that he made it and was a good deal. Not even Sellas gave him a go.

No one brings in players and young players in hopes to break even. If it doesnt work out or they dont play up to the potential you think they have then you look to offload and recoup what money you can.

Hindsight and all that.

Dont get me wrong I dont disagree with what you're saying but its a gamble like the others which havtn paid off, if we make our money back or a little more on top then its cost us nothing to roll the dice on said players.

The idea is that he will develop better in a better quality of academy. Playing with our U21s is better than sitting on a bench in Sweden.

If this the plan is to genuinely develop and trade u21s to bring money in to improve the first team I’m all for it, but nothing about our last few years of summer transfers makes you think any of this is intentional.

Wilder isn’t completely infallible, earlier this season he insisted on playing Ogbene/Chong with Tanganga at RB, he only switched to Seriki / Brooks after injuries forced his hand.

He was ready to sell N’Diaye to Barnsley, he wanted to send Peck out so he could bring Dozell in, his big plan for the summer was Harry Darling and Jimmy Dunne. It’s fair to say he has ‘a type’ and young players with different life experience and upbringing don’t do well in the environment he creates.
 
He's a long way behind Bindon, who Forest paid less than £1m for. Even without seeing him play, I know that because Bindon has forced his way into the team after being virtually out of the door back to Forest and NZ can't make the bench.

Wilder prefers experienced players. I don't think nationality matters but I do think experience in the English leagues does. NZ isn't going to play. If we can get rid and bring in a player of a similar age who's shown they can handle L1 as a starting place, why wouldn't you do it?
 
As has been said weve not really seen him play. Should have given him a run out in the cup he cant be any worse than McGuiness. Bindon wasnt first choice to start with many on here wanted rid ASAP Wilder didnt trust him

Exactly. He's younger than Louie Marsh who many on here are suggesting should be in the matchday squad.
Key difference is that he came through our youth so fans are happier to give time to
 
If we are looking to get him loaned then it makes sense.
If we are looking just to sell to free up a visa spot then it makes sense.

I don't get it if we are looking to loan-to-buy him unless he's wank
 
If there's little to no chance of him playing or nailing down a spot in the matchday squad each week, there's no point in him being here and there's no point in us stopping him from getting regular game time, wherever that might be.

If he goes to Genoa and they don't fancy him either, then I'm sure he could have a decent career in Sweden at least which is pretty much League One standard in a lot of cases.

But how can you expect a player to have any chance in the first team if he’s never actually given a chance. Mansfield were the prime time to stick him in and see what he’s about.

If a Serie A team are looking at him, he must have something about him to warrant interest.

He’s also been capped once by Sweden, granted that’s not an amazing barometer, but it’s something to show he’s got some potential.
 
If he played for his previous club this season and had also played for us he possibly may not have been eligible to play for anyone else and subsequently this deal may have been lined up some time ago when we realised we wanted to offload. although recent events may necessitate him being used tonight
