It’s difficult to classify him as a poor signing considering we’ve never actually seen him play a competitive game.

He could’ve been the next Nosworthy, but equally he could’ve been the Swedish Maldini. Nobody knows as he’s never had the chance.

He might be comfortable on the ball and athletic but if you don’t show Pashun your out.
At least we have the joys of watching full of Pashun McGuinness and Hoever who looked anything but a footballer on Wednesday night.
I often wonder why no big Premiership club has ever looked at Wilder, I am sure Pashun is all that's missing from Man Utd and Liverpool to get them back on track.

I assume they have followed him for a while and feel he will do ok in a "slower" league?

If he’s deemed to be slower than Mee and less mobile than McGuinness, then a career in football is not for him.
But I will reserve judgement because I’ve not actually seen him play.
