So we're waiting for someone else to buy the Korean lad, Everton one isn't coming until they bring in Mbappe, why aren't we snapping this lad up..

On bench for Malmö today v Halmstad. Championship is a step up from Swedish top level

I agree with that. I was just trying to highlight that if we do sign him he is likely to need time to get up to speed rather than being straight into our starting line-up.
 
He's not good enough for the first team. As a player for the future, maybe. Don't want some of you expecting the next Anel here. We'll still need 2 CBs in addition.

Not trying to be a smart arse, but how many games have you seen him play?
He sounds like Bindon cover, or even one for the future, but I dont know, I've not seen him play.

One. But Malmö don't fancy him enough to play him in a back 3 that includes a 34 year old Pontus Jansson.

Also his stats are pretty bad in what is a very low quality league. Not trying to talk shit about the kid, just think some here are expecting a Championship level defender, when he isn't close to that level yet.

Regardless of what his situation is at Malmö let's hope he learns fast because he is going to be playing if he signs for us .

Not my decision but if he's coming here and even if we get other players in ,he will at best be part of 4 available centre backs and will have to play
So sink or swim
And at best is doing a lot of heavy lifting at the moment

I think it's because when we get linked with a player that we don't know/haven't heard of, people can get a bit apprehensive and even a bit negative about them because they haven't seen them before and don't know what they're like as players.

I don't agree with people writing them off before they've kicked a ball or even signed for us, but I can sort of understand why some people do it.

I think it's just not knowing what to expect because they don't know anything about the player in question, so naturally they get a bit apprehensive about it.

Just trying to set expectations really. I would rather he come here with people expecting Sasnauskas level rather than Anel.

..or he may just be just a smoke screen whilst we quietly bring in others ?
