He’s way more involved than that. Sooner we cut ties with him the better. I’m hoping that what Selles said today and the unrest from the fans it will see us move away from him soon cos at the minute him and a few of the directors are the problem. This is the problem you have when you have a consortium though too many voices.

I honestly don’t think it would make any difference if anything it will just create even more off a mess. The main point of contact for the manager as it has been for years is Bettis who to be fair to him is about one of only 2 off these lot that I think are actually sensible and maybe do have the clubs best interests at heart.

He cops a lot of flak does Bettis but I genuinely think he cares and has the best interests at heart. Probably just way too stretched across the club to do anything in an effective manner. Looks like he needs some experienced heads around him.

Is this a game to them, do you think? I really can't work out their motivation for buying us. If it's just to see if their AI experiment works, it would be easier to do it elsewhere and it certainly won't if they don't at least keep us top half of the Championship. They don't seem particularly interested in the club.

Some players I'd be looking at to add flexibility and leadership influence.

Hickey is predominantly a (right) full back & wouldn’t fit the need for a dominant / physical/ leader & relatively young (23) himself.
Hell of a footballer but hardly played for 2 years following (initial unsuccessful) surgery on a recurring ankle problem.
One of his major attributes is (was?!) pace (allied with excellent reading of the game) - I wouldn’t be especially confident that given the nature & duration of injury he would easily be ‘up to speed’ (literally) any time soon.

New owners always take time fucking around and acting like they know best etc. You have to hope they learn quickly

The actual owner's though Helmy and COH are they mega rich T? Cos it's unnerving seeing no movement on the market front and seeing stuff about the owners being skint etc, Nevermind you answered the question whilst I was typing
