Looking at our next four fixtures and considering our injury list, current form etc. I expect we will get the following:

Blackpool (A) - 0 points
Ollie's team look a tough nut to crack at Bloomfield Road this season. They handed out Newecastle's first defeeat of the season there. Expect we will lose by more than 2 tomorrow night given our pathetic attempts at defending this season so far and lattery in particular. We will get over run and capitluate with a whimper.

Cardiff (H) - 0 points
We will get spanked by Cardiff at home with Chopra bagging at least a brace.
0-0 last season at home but we drilled them 3-0 away after they pressed the self destruct button - so they will feel that they have something to prove to themselves and gain revenge for a defeat that really hurt their play off ambitions last year. Dave Jones is a canny manager who knows how to get his teams to play attractive, attacking football so if we lose to Blackpool Tuesday expect the crowd to be anxious and on the players back early doors because Cardiff will keep the ball and our lads will just give it back to them as soon as we have won it.

Newcastle (H) - 0 points
First of two consecutive live games on the telly. We are shite on the telly, actually we are shite most of the time this season. Expect the Blades to put up a bit of a fight for this one since it is a 'big' team but ultimately I cannot see us scoring enough to threaten. I forsee us conceding a couple of silly goals, Bunngle caught on camera letting one through his holographic palms again and the fat Geordie boys smiling at the end of the game.

Dingles (A) - 0 points
On telly.
Script written for Hume to score and Morgs to get sent off.
Now that Mark Robins feller - he looks a good manager - same playing staff but completely turned around their fortunes within the space of a couple of games.

Go on then, shoot me down. Tell me why I am wrong.

Well it'll come as a nice surprise to you if we get some points then, I look forward to some cheerful posts from you if/when we don't lose all 4 matches :D

i agree ......next un will be against Peterborough.
owt else a bonus.

I don't hold out much hope for the next 4 matches in the current climate. If we pick up only a few points, Blackwell will be under intense pressure.

So predict the scores then if you are so confident we will get something out of these games.

I recall hearing Adrian Durham on TalkBLX being really surprised that Scunny had beaten us so easily. Who else was surprised? Not me. I bet the majority of fans who went to the game were there to cheer and support the team we all love but without any realistic expectations of us getting anything out of it.

I have taken a serious look at our next 4 fixtures and that's the way I seee it. Cross examine it if you like. Let me know your own opinions and give me some valid reasos but don't come back with an insipid response that completely ignores reality, again.

I don't predict, we lose if I do.
If I said we'd win, we'd lose
If I said we'd Draw we'd lose
If I said we'd lose, we'd lose
So I don't do it.

I will run around Sheffield City Centre completely naked if we lose all four of those games. Not a chance of that happening. I will keep my word if so!

my predictions:

Blackpool - We'll rise in the face of adversity and claim a deserved (if somewhat nervous) 2-1 win...

Cardiff - Not as good as people making out. The lads will want to put in a good show in front of their own fans. 2-0

Newcastle - Best team by far but reckon we'll battle to a 1-1 draw.

Barnsley - Hopefully their recent form is down to new manager sydrome. It should've faded by the time we go there. 1-0 to us.

It's not all doom and gloom ;)

Yeah but at least I can say it's not my fault by not predicting :D

I seriously doubt that anything you or I predict has any bearing on what will happen. It'll never be your fault.

I thought that was the whole point of these forums - to debate and predict and chew the cud on topics that all of us are interested in but not directly involved in - other than when we attend games and shout on our boys.

I am not predicting 4 defeats in the vain hope that we will amass 12 points from the next set of fixtures - I would love that to happen, of course. I genuinely believe that we will not get a bean from them for the reasons stated.

That is the point of Forum's, yes.
But we don't all have to get involved in all the conversations or adhere to all requests made.
I know me predicting doesn't make us lose, but I don't do it out of my own superstition.

I must admit, on the way home from Scunthorpe while we were stuck on the M18 () I did think something along similar lines.

I wasn't confident we'd lose all 4, but it wouldn't surprise me if we did lose all 4 with the way we've been performing.

Some people are talking about how we'll bounce back, but I've been waiting for signs of bouncing back for 3 games and appear to have had no such luck. Hopefully things will change soon, but I haven't seen any signs of this happening.

There were some signs against Doncaster. We played well in that match and were unfortunate not to win. The football was also quite watchable.

One of the other reasons why I think we will ship a whole stack of goals is evident from the first goal Scunny scored on Satdi. McCann was unmarked in a position in central midfield, just outside the area, so he had time and space to whack one in the air to lob the Bunngle. With Monty being injured there is no protection for the back 4 and since they are a shambles at the moment (sublte that one since Killa is from York) we will be on a hiding to nothing whilst Monty is still out of the team.

One down and three to go. From the commentary on Five Live it sounded like we didn't even turn up. They were slating us with comments like, No shape, no responsibility, no tackling, a sorry bunch, no tactical direction from the bench, they came looking for a draw but never looking likely to keep a clean sheet.

Cardiff will score 4 on Satdi.

Are you getting ready?
You must have your shoes off by now, at least?

Hahahaha!! I'm sitting under a blanket in my living room shitting myself everytime i hear a noise outside.

Blackwell is useless but it is not all his fault. Today Kila was a waste of space - I doubt he came close to breaking sweat! Our once 'best defence in the league' will continue to flood in goals until we get rid of him!

Matt - are you sat there in just your socks and trainers?
Or are your trainers off in the car park?

Well at least Morgs cannot get sent off at Dingle Den - he is suspended.

It's beginning to look like you might be called upon to do so!
