Nightmare scenario

It could easily happen. A bit of complacency tonight leading to a surprise defeat, then changes for the next game that don't work and we lose again. Then panic starts to set in and we just hoof it at Hanson, Jake Wright injures himself trying to get to a ball Coutts should have cut out, Billy misses a vital pen, Moore tweaks his groin and Long plays the last three games...

It probably won't though and there's nowt I can do to change what happens anyway so no point worrying. Que sera sera.
I'm no expert but I'd say you're definitely over thinking things.

This thread has given me a horrible nervous feeling inside that will last for the rest of the day. the only way around it is to go to the pub early, that way I'll be too pissed to care but I'll probably forget the match.

Thanks for that.

If it all pans out pre Chesterfield as per that scenario I'll be the one pre match on the corner of Cherry Street & Shoreham Street flogging the valium tablets.

You've got to be sick in the head to invest all that time and effort to show something that is extremely unlikely to happen - and very, very pessimistic. Serious question: Are you suffering from depression? That's never normal to go off like that - go and get yourself checked out.

I was just fishing for "likes"

Please move this thread to the twats thread.

I don't know why people are saying it won't happen

Haven't they learned anything from past experiences

It's all very well saying "Different this time" or "Wilder won't allow any slip ups"

But when you are talking about just a couple of games anything can happen.

Having said that the one and only reason there is nerves about tonight is because Bolton scraped a last minute winner last night. If that game had ended 0-0 we would be going into this game quite relaxed

How can you call it 'nightmare scenario' and have both fleetwood and Bolton down for drawing games? Surely nightmare scenario would involve them winning every game?

Lose only 3 since August.

Then lose at least 3 in the last 6 games.

LOL.

We lost 3 and drew 1 of our first four games, hope we don't finish like we started. Just saying.;)

Think I have more chance of pulling her than this happening

Have you been to the Lane this season and seen them play????
For the first time in years this team really want to win and get promoted.
Teamwork and being lead by a great management team seems to finally be the key.
I'm a believer.........
UTB

So we lose 3 from 5, after losing 2 since December 1st.

No! Even my lack of faith cannot see this happening!

Just spent the last two hours breathing into a paper bag to no avail. Thought I'd got over my nerves after Saturdays results but my panic attacks have returned. I now have a ticket I can't use. Just can't believe how close we were to success only to throw it away.
