He obviously lost his way a bit after joining Man U, but he's the type of player as far as potential and age we should be looking at. Not seen enough of him to form a great opinion either way as to weather we should sign him or not.

I've seen him play a couple of times and he's quite a talented player but very clumsy at times when it comes to passing, think thats more of a communication problem, sometimes made simple passes look hard when I've seen him play.

I doubt Wigan are naive, when they signed him they will have included buy outs and also relegation wage clauses. Their parachute payments end this summer and with them looking like going down again they can't draw 3500 fans a week and pay out £10k+ a week to players they won't last till Xmas. I expect Wigan to be stripped to the bare bones in the summer.

Everytime I've seen him play he's looked lazy and awful. For me he doesn't have the work ethic to play for our Tufty.
I'd choose Powell over Wilson
