I definitely need a sponsorless one for the collection. But I think this shirt might well fall in to the ‘looks better with sponsor’ category.

I know it’s a gambling sponsor which sole frown upon but it’s nice to have a sponsor whose logo is smart - or should I say inoffensive.

My view too.

Completely understand and respect why people might not want this specific sponsor on their shirt, plus some just prefer sponsorless shirts.

However, i think the shirt looks better with the sponsor's logo. Seems bare without it.

I think it’s the fact the badge just marginally overlaps the stripes that looks off to me.

Either have the logo fit within or make the stripes slightly wider so it does fit or much narrower so the badge positioning is less obvious.

It just look like you measured up with your fingers instead of measuring tape!

Sunderland also selling theirs as a full striped back, with a panelled back only for their match-worn shirts. Think they and/or Newcastle did similar last year, and it feels a good move to offer that option.

Well I've received the home shirt from DHgate (have pics) today for the missus, before I buy the proper home and away shirts for myself from the shop after pay day.

Looks really good. having seen and tried on the actual shirts in the shop, the look and quality are pretty bang on - if anyone's interested.

Just been to get a unsponsored one from the shop. Shop guy seemed very coy when I asked. Only had 3 mediums left (or at least that’s what I was told) and all had the marks on I’ve previously mentioned. Feel like there’s only me spotting them as nobody else is mentioning it. Shop are deffo aware of it though but still selling them and I assume just hoping people don’t notice it - which it seems is exactly what’s happening.

It was Sunderland that did the same last year.

I always wondered why they couldn’t print a red squad on the back at the same time as the number/name. Doesn’t feel impossible does it?

That’s exactly what I’m seeing - blemishes. It’s not glaringly obvious. It’s subtle. But it shouldn’t be there. Shouldn’t have to be checking a new shirt for marks. And more have had marks than haven’t of the away shirts I’ve checked. Not good from adidas.

My midnite one the badge is perfect

Im wearing 19 20 home shirt today and the badge is flawless on that albeit the shit itself is a bit of a poor design
