Just been to get a unsponsored one from the shop. Shop guy seemed very coy when I asked. Only had 3 mediums left (or at least that’s what I was told) and all had the marks on I’ve previously mentioned. Feel like there’s only me spotting them as nobody else is mentioning it. Shop are deffo aware of it though but still selling them and I assume just hoping people don’t notice it - which it seems is exactly what’s happening.

Are they marks that will wash out?
Are they just on the sponsorless shirts or the full fat ones?

To be fair to Adidas mine wasn't full fat till I put it on.

No. It’s “sublimation bleed” from when the sash is printed on to the white fabric during production. It’ll wash out just as much as the sash itself will to give a clearer indication. They are essentially faulty and are still for sale despite the shop knowing about it.

At first I thought it would only be the sponsored ones as the bleed can occur when the sponsor is applied. The protective sheet - placed over the sponsor when applied - picks up a little ink from the sash. When that same sheet is used on the next shirt that ink then transfers to the next shirt.

But it was on the unsponsored ones too so it’s happening in the adidas production factory. (Sponsors are applied by a third party - usually a company called Infinity in Leeds).

The River Plate one has a sash on the back though which I would've taken. Do think their red sash looks better too but I'm happy with our effort.

No idea how to find that out. Shop staff don’t know or so they say. Who else are we supposed to ask after that?

Away kit just arrived. Absolutely beautiful . No wonky badge or any other issues. Ordered from fanatics on Mon and just arrived in Northern Ireland. No complaints.

It's a 'Medium' but fits like a small.

To be clear, I will be purchasing the genuine shirts for myself. It's just she cannot justify the price for what she will wear it. Nor is she a collector like me.
