I decided about a month ago to end my Bramall Lane exile. I haven't been able to attend in several years due to other commitments but thought from next season, sod it, I am going to see the Blades at least once a month.

The current climate however has me worried. Fans are not happy, sorry that's an understatement, fans are p**sed off.

Is there a chink of light at the end of the tunnel? Or I am destined to be a depressed next season sat in the Lane as I am on a Saturday afternoon in my house in Liverpool watching soccer Saturday?

Is there any hope because I so want the Blades to succeed.

Disappointment is an integral part of being a blade! We won't go up this year and will most likely have our best players poached.. not that we actually have many good players. If by some miracle we do go up this year (it won't happen) we will not have the money to compete and will play pretty much the same team that we do now, which will get astronomically raped by pace and quality in the championship week in week out without fail. It's pretty much a big fat pile of turd either way you look at it. However there may be one or two games out of the season like the Brentford game a week or so ago which spark your interest back up. Yet still end with a crap disappointing result that does us fuck all of good. No one can really help you decide because either way your going to watch/ listen to what will be boring crap football with players who simply put are not good enough and have the work ethic of a sloth. Sorry to be such a morbid bastard... actually no., I’m not because it really is that bad

No hope. No light. As mentioned on this site before, one of the worst teams to play for Utd. Difficult to see how we are going to get better.

only team i've seen that was worse in 40 years was the 80-81 team.. that .. interestingly.. resembled this team in many ways

I think you will find Scouse that it's a shit sandwich, whichever way you look at it.

There's not likely to be any light for a long time to come. The tunnelers are all going sideways so they will never get to an exit.
