Swansea city.

Strangely a good shout.

Another go at carloss, a Prem team that may be beatable, plus I recall Swansea beating us in the cup when we were on our way down from the Prem, and they, again strangely as it was at the time, were on their way up, from nowhere.

Feels right.
Carlos at the Lane with his monetary magic and talk of lobsters. Got to be.

Just watching Cardiff v Man City. I'd like to avoid Man City because although it would be good to face them at bdtbl!. I think we would potentially struggle?. Cardiff have been chasing shadows for much of the game. A lower league side at the lane gets my vote?. Utb

Carlos at Swansea would be a different prospect to Carlos at Wednesday.

Post-Huddersfield the players had given up on him at S6.

Exactly what i was thinking,Cardiff had the piss taken out of them infront of their biggest crowd 32k+.

I hope the pigs draw them at home, they can have a big crowd and get the piss took out of them,we on the other hand will get a game that no one is interested in..........like Millwall  but we will beat them and be in the quarter finals and the pigs will just be licking wounds and gloryfying their great attendance and the resounding win of a 4-0 drubbing.

Pigs home or away for me please.

Nowt to fear from them, they truly are an awful side who we’ll beat quite easily I think. Once we’ve routinely stuffed them we’ll be in the quarter finals yet again and as we know when it gets to that stage it’s game on.

In fact I’d prefer away, the opportunity of stuffing them once again on their home turf / pen would be too good to miss. It’d be on telly more than likely so once again the whole nation could laugh at just how truly crap they are and how much better we are. Can’t wait for another picture of their joke mascots slumped down on the pitch when the fourth goes in with no reply this time.

How much fun it’ll be to see the Pigs once again squeal squeal and squeal again all the way home. They say Pigs are intelligent but their tiny brains still compute how they’re relegation fodder while we once again take our rightful place as Sheffield’s number one club.

United - Younger, Fitter, Stronger.

I notice that on Porktalk there's a headline saying none of our fans want to play Wednesday because its a different Wednesday now and we're "pooing our pants"!

I was one of the fans, unlike you Fatty, that didn't want another derby because we've already beaten them this season and got the bragging rights, whereas we could possibly lose to them if we played them again. That isn't me "pooing my pants" but I'm quite happy to just leave it where it is, but actually I think we'd have every chance of beating them again since we're on decent form and having seen their game against Reading, Reading had three very presentable chances that they missed, which a better team - like us - wouldn't.

Man city at home for me. Just feel that Pep is losing his magic a little and maybe he can pick up some tips from our Chris...;)

Any Sunday home tie is my preference.

I’m not averse to anything porcine.

Watched most of Man City match today. Very good but very boring. That much in total control against Cardiff it was a real yawnfest and not something i’d want to pay and watch.

8 ties in total and with 6? ties this weekend being televised there’s every chance we’ll have another indifferent kick off time.

Saturday night kick off? Fuck that!

For me a big team would be fun Chelsea & man utd are beatable. said before watching pep guardiola would be a privilege even if we would get battered as de bruyne, silva, sane & aguero would rip us apart like most teams in europe but for me i just want a beatable team & good chance of a quarter final. I wouldnt want newport or spurs mainly newport as ive watched 3rd & 4th rd games outplayed leeds & more than matched full strength tottenham

Home
Wigan Athletic
Southampton
Coventry City
West Bromwich Albion

Home or Away
Huddersfield Town / Birmingham City
Notts County / Swansea City

(As long as it not saturday evening, ive got Jason mansford at city hall)

Cov at home for me then hopefully a winnable tie in the quarters. Another day like the Charlton game under Clough would be fantastic.

No worries, send him a text ;)

The Tottenham Hotspur's FC at home please. I want to see if Dele Ali looks like Andy Pandy in real life.

I’m not “pooing my pants” at the prospect of facing the pigs in the cup. I “poo my pants” whenever we face em. So it makes no odds. They aren’t going up or down so a cup run is the highlight of their pathetic, last chance before FFP kicks in season. Beating us in the cup would mean every bragging right is gone for good. Even if we went up. We go up but they beat us in the 5th round so who are the muppets now?

Personally NC home or away.

Don't want the Pigs until the final. 0-0 after extra time. While the Pigs are celebrating another victory over us we bang in 5 penalties unopposed and win the shoot out 5-0.
Is it possible to win a penalty shootout 5-0? :)

I’ve not seen it mentioned here, but I’ve got a strong feeling we’ll draw Chelsea. Not a draw I would like, as they look lethal in the cup and Conte needs to win the FA Cup as they’ll probably go out to Barca in the CL

In order of preference (at home):

Swansea
Hull
Hudders/Bham
Wigan
Millwall/Rochdale
Coventry
Brighton
West Brom
Southampton
Leicester
Spurs
Chelsea
Man Utd
Man City
Pigs

I think we would beat any of the top 5 choices at home. Coventry, regardless of their status, are a decent size club and are starting to stir. I'm not saying we fear them but with the needle last season, a big following, just something about the fixture puts them down the list a bit for me.

The middle of the road Prem sides aren't too attractive for me, they are all becoming mechanical, effective survival machines and would stifle us out of the game.

We're unlikely to beat the big 4 prem sides and I want the best chance of progressing, and I fucking hate derby matches.

I want the worst team left in the draw at home this round & then the worst team left in at home in the quarters.

I had a feeling in my waters when we played Wednesday the other week, that we'd play them again this season. Who knows, it might have been a premonition, it might have been cystitis. If we draw them tonight so be it, if not then I need to drink more cranberry juice.
