But is Brayford really too injured to play? is Harry too injured (or was it to protect him from the suspension?) and how is Murphy? He tried to rest Flynn last night.
Little bit on our side as id imagine most won't be familiar;
Recently we've been taken over by the owner of Standard Liege who has a network of clubs. We seem to be his no.2 in line, so we've had a small influx of SL players.
Hamer is our goalkeeper, who had a 'worldie' against Wednesday. He's currently got a beard to match Brayfords.
Defensively, we've been ok. Centre half pairing of Morrison and Wood (both ex-Wednesday) are physical and steady. Wiggins is a great left back, and likes to get forward. Wilson has been arguably one of our best players this year as a make-shift RB, due to long term injury of our best player and twice POTY Chris Solly.
In midfield, we've had a bit of a renaissance. Two products of our academy will hopefully start in the middle, Jordan Cousins (who can also play RM) and Diego Poyet (son of Gus). Out wide is anyones guess, but likely to be Jonnie Jackson (although he could play CM, where Powell seems to prefer him), or another one of our youth products Calum Harriott. Tudgay has also recently joined on loan and can play outwide.
Upfront has been a massive problem for us this season. Just 24 league goals this season says it all. Adjarevic, on loan from SL, is likely to start behind Simon Church. We also have on loan Standard Lieges Iranian international who's first name is Reza, I won't attempt his surname, but he's yet to score.
Powell is often accused of playing 'hoofball' but since the sale of Yann Kermogant and the arrival of the very skilful Adjarevic, plus Diego Poyet playing well above his years, we have slightly removed that from our game.
Cheers mate. I actually know all this due to a charlton-supporting housemate but should b useful for other blades. I went to watch you earlier in the season against Blackpool actually. I can say, hand on heart, that was the worst game of football I have ever paid to watch. 0 shots on target from either team, I'm assuming you won't be that bad on Sunday!
I think you're a decent side now and tgen, but as my mate will comfirm, your season smacks of our relegation season too. I think you really lack a goal scorer which is so costly. Jackson is a class above most, and heard good things about poyet.
I also think Hamer is a little suspect actually, despite his performance at wednesday. On reflection ofcourse you have a better squad as you're in the championship, but would suggest: Maguire, Scougall, Brayford and Coady would all get in your side. I hear Harriot looks a real prospect too.

0 shots on target, sounds very familiar mate!
Jackson has come under a bit of criticism this season funnily enough, many fans saying his legs have gone etc, but time and time again he seems to come through and scores important goals. Poyet, i think he'll be gone in the summer and although he's only played 5 games for the first team, he oozes quality.
This season is a case of now hoping there are 3 teams worse than us. I can see the fact we've got 4 games in hand being a problem, saturday/tuesday every week from now on, with a paper thin squad is not ideal.
I watched the Fulham replay, and will admit thats the only time I've seen you this year, and agree that Brayford looks an excellent player and without causing offence, far too good for L1 football.
Sunday form goes out the window though, and with a big atmosphere and a place at Wembley at stake, anything can happen.

What did you make of the sale of Kermogant? I always thought he looked capable and see he scored a hatrick at the weekend.
Its a strange one really. He was seen as a bit of a cult hero, and when the rumours started people weren't happy. Apparently he was offered a new contract, but it wasn't enough money, then an improved offer came in and he turned it down again. Different stories from him and the club have come out about the whole saga. Personally, i wanted him to stay till the end of the season but whats done is done.
If we win its fantastic, we lose "it's expected as charlton are a championship side" we draw its another payday, so to that end is this Sunday a win/win/win situation?
Personally I think a blades win is on the cards but my disappointment will not be to deep with either of the other two results, tbh with fixture congestion the very worst result would be a draw IMHO but by no means a disaster .
I'll just enjoy the ride for the distraction it has been, que sera sera
He came on when Charlton had a corner at the Lane End, he was jogging to the penalty box and then headed in the corner to give them the leadI see, he was a big lad him. I remember him coming on as a sub at the lane when you went up. He had muscles in places I dont have places. Oh and then he scored the winner ffs.
They build you up, and knock you down. It's the Blades way.
There is no question that both teams will be up for it because of the prize at stake the question which sides will turn up the Charlton team that beat pigs or the Charlton side for 80% of there season. The same with us if the team that beat Forest turns up and performs then i think we will sneak it but if the beat that play Crewe, Notts county or Walsall turns up then its all over.
In Sir Nigel we trust
3rd from bottomCurrent form (below) shows Blades 2nd from top of the 1st, with Charlton 2nd from bottom of the Championship.
On top of that its a home tie and the bookies have us as favourites. Semi-final here we come!
