dyche wouldnt be my 1st choice but what he did at burnley doesnt get anywhere near the credit it deserves
I think for a lot of people "playing like we do now" is in the negatives column for Wilder, and Dyche doesn't have "one of our own" in the positives column to balance it outNot saying I want Dyche but I don't get people turning their nose up at him when he's been more successful than Wilder playing a similar way to how we are now
He is the only one on the list with a track record of establishing an unfashionable club as Premier League regulars without breaking the bank, but he'd just feel like a bit of a like-for-like swap with Wilder at a time when, if we're going to make a change, it should be for someone who genuinely improves our set-up.dyche wouldnt be my 1st choice but what he did at burnley doesnt get anywhere near the credit it deserves
Not that boring negative twat Dyche!
If he is to go if we don’t go up. Who would you want?
Can’t they fast track it like what they’re doing with Christian NwhatshisfaceWork permit![]()
A much more appealing list to the smorgasbord of shite in the OP..Few of my realistic(ish) suggestions. I think "league experience" is a bit over-rated. I'm more interested in managers being good tacticians, preferably with decent backroom experience shadowing top-class managers.
Wilfried Nancy (Columbus Crew) - Got Columbus Crew playing really attractive football. He's known for being the tactician of the MLS, but is really well liked by the players too. Might catch the owners eye, as he's won a few cups in the past few season.
Pep Lijnders (Unattached) - Klopp's former number 2. Didn't work out at Red Bull Salzburg, but he's a smart guy with a clear philosophy. Lot of the best managers started as number 2 to the great managers.
Ian Cathro (Estoril) - Scottish former assistant manager to Rafa Benitez and Nuno Santo. Moved to Portugal to manage Estoril and has impressed. Only 38, so could have a fresh approach.
Rob Edwards (Unattached) - No idea what the hell happened this season, but worked miracles at Luton. Maybe just needs a fresh project.
Kevin Muscat (Shanghai Port) - Been successful managing in Australia, Japan and China. Proper nasty bastard who has relaxed with age, but could still keep a bit of that Wilder fire.
Billy Sharp 1/5
Nick Montgomery Ev
Robert Page 4/1
Neil Collins 8/1
Mark Duffy 10/1
Kyle Walker 14/1
Brian Deane 20/1
Neil Warnock 33/1
Paul Heckingbottom 33/1
Micky Adams 100/1
Cheque book Slav didnt have a penny that he was promisedChristophe Wilderinho after CW changes his name by deed poll. It'd be funny to see the snobs, jilted brides, and anti English xenophobes automatically lauding the current manager (who's doing a superb job) when he comes back in foreign attire, playing the same football with similar results.
Or get cheque book Slav back. He's a misunderstood genius apparently.
I imagine he would be quite expensive given he's got three years left on his contract at Stoke.Wouldn’t be upset to see Mark Robbins in charge, very surprised to see him sacked from Coventry.
