Our next five fixtures, what do you think is a realistic return on these?

Personally I think 9 is more than achievable, with no disrespect to the opposition we CAN beat Brighton, Burnley and potentially one of Southampton or Everton. That puts us on 10pts going into the new year.

Of course we could lose to all of them, but I’ve not given up hope yet that we can’t fight.

What do you think?

Maybe 2 points and that’s being very optimistic, can’t see anything but defeat to Southampton, Man Utd, and Everton. Clinging on to the fact we might be able to get a point each off Brighton and Burnley.
Depressing times.

I think we may get a point at Burnley but that's a push

Southampton Lose 0-3
Man Utd Lose 1-4
Brighton Lose 0-2
Everton Lose 1-2
Burnley Draw 0-0

Well I thought we’d get 7 points from West Ham, WBA and Leicester. Seeing as we got 0, I’m going for 0 from these games too.

I expected to go into 2021 with more than 16 points, but I guess I'll have to settle for that.

10pts.

Draw at Southampton.
Lose to Man U.
Win 3 on bounce.

Hard to see more than a couple of points the way things are going... & that feels optimistic. Sad times.

Hello, Stegosaurus here

One point. 2 goals.

0-2

0-1

1 - 2

1 - 3

0 - 0

Hello, derekacorah here

Che Adams winner for Saints - 0 pts

Maguire winner with Henderson penalty save for Man U - 0 pts

Maupay winner for Brighton - 0 pts

Calvert-Lewin winner for Everton - 0 pts

Lowton 40 yeard screamer for Burnley - 0 pts

If there's on season it will happen it's this one.

There are chances we can get something off Brighton and Burnley.

We are very unlikely to get anything off the other three.

Pessimistic: Zero
We've got in to the losing habit.

Optimistic: 11
Southampton 3
Man Utd 1
Brighton 3
Everton 1
Burnley 3

Realistic: 1 or 2
Possible point against Brighton/Burnley

Man U and Everton have the sort of dangerous players who are bound to our-score us so can’t see any points there.

And away from home we’ve gone from being almost unbeatable in 2019, to being the softest of soft touches. If you need an indicator of how mentally fragile the team has become, it’s there in the away record. We’ll lose the lot.

If we put our expectations at nil points.then whatever we get if any will be a bonus and cheer us up. whereas if we dont get any points its what we said we would get anyway and we wont have note to moan about

Have you even watched us at all this season? You're saying for us to increase our points total (accumulated over 11 games) by 800% over just a 5 game period is "more than achievable"???

I'll have what she's having!

I have to believe we’ll get some wins, but as they say, it’s the hope that kills you 😂

5, tops. Beat Burney, draw Brighton and Everton. I can't see us taking anything from Southampton and I think a point would be very unlikely from Man U, although they are struggling for consistency.

Possible 7 point. Saints away loose, Man Utd home loose, Win away @ Brighton, Draw at home to Everton and Win away at Burnley

I think our best chance of anything is Brighton. Dyche has enough nous to turn it round at Burnley. I think it's very possible we'll get nowt from any of them, but you never know, it's football, 2020 style!!

Things are going to turn at some point, no team goes into January without winning a game. Statistically it's virtually unheard of.

I am going for a hopeful 6-8 points (including our current 1) by New Year.

Brighton and Burnley are there to be won, and ManU still strike me as a team who will slip up from time to time, so maybe a point there.

Southampton and Everton will have too much for us I think.
