New United shop?

As the one in the Coop is shutting down, i heard the bloke in there say that a new one might be opening in either Atkinsons or TJ Hughes.

Anyone else heard of anything?

Perhaps more people would use the online shop if it were at all decent and didn't charge the extortionate flat £5 fee for postage.

It'd certainly save on ground rent for a physical shop.

The Co-op itself is closing down, and leaving nothing but the grocery shop and post office - all the other departments will be closed (or are closed, not sure which).

To be honest, I don't see why we need an in-town store when Bramall Lane is only down the road!

I think with only official places selling Blades merchandise, then there is every need.

It taps into a stream of people who don't touch Bramall Lane (ie mums on a weekly shop)
