I dont see how it is patronising. They are just stating we are getting a new screen...thats it.

Just sounds patronising to me. I suppose they have used the word improved. If it had just said "Blades to get new feature" it would be.

I like this part in particular: "The big screen has been used for fans to send in birthday and and other celebratory messages as well as advertising packages". Makes us sound so quaint. Are we using it for HD replays or is it merely just an advertising board?

Probably a bit of both? Got to pay it's way I guess.

Thanks for the link to The Stir. I'd quite forgotten what a shite rag it is. Apparently, Stone & Taps bar has closed on Glossop Street and - just to prove The Stir has it's finger on the pulse of world events,
Basegreen Avenue residents have complained about the mess left by council contractor AMEY after they cut the grass verges.

Yes, a local newspaper definitely shouldn't deal in issues that are important to its residents. And world events? In a regional daily?

And on 3...2...1. You're right. Why would Sheffield residents be bothered about terrorist attacks, tower block fires etc. when the Star can round up 3 muppets from 'Whining Bastards Central' and picture them pointing at some grass? Worth 75p of anybody's money.

Does it cost 75p?

Interestingly I note from the back page I scanned as I left Spar, Wilder is reported as saying "we are not arrogant" HMMMMMMM. Did he say that? Arrogant normally a word attributable to another club closer to Barnsley.

Terror

Tower Blocks

Google will also furnish you with stuff on the Rotherham sex scandal and myriad other local issues. Including fighting for the little guys! :)

Although there are a few clueless journos at The Star, you can bet most pieces written by James Shield will be unbiased and credible. Quality journo in my opinion.

The article is suggesting it's being relocated between top and bottom tiers- this wouldn't work!
Can't be right that, not without losing some seats.

Should put it on the roof of the Lane end like they originally intended to, with a matching one on the roof of the new Kop When it's built.

Like White Hart Lane was, it would look fantastic.
