Why can't shirts have collars? I dislike shirts without collars - very working class.

The problem these days is the trend to wear shirts under shirts and, FFS, the snood ! Collars wouldn't do our trendy footballers any favours.

Any news on sponsorship, last I heard, McCabe was discussing with Malta but nothing seems to have come out since ?

The last time we had a kit so far removed from our traditional stripes we ended up in the fourth division. Perhaps history is going to repeat itself.

That photo was taken on the old Ball Inn ground at the start of the 70-71 season. My parents' house (which they still live in) is directly behind TC's left shoulder. Though as it was a spanking new house and wqe only moved in in 71, it probably was only half there then.

The hairstyles are interesting. We haven't quite got into long flowing locks mode, but you can see most of the players are tentaively getting there (two years behind all other young men). However, Hodgkinson, Tudor and Flynn are clearly having none of it. If short back and sides was good enough for their dads....
