Works very good 95% of the time .... when it does go wrong their customer service is shite

I expect them to be in the Twats thread early next season ...... :)
 
This is almost as bad as the previous incarnation. Awful performance, looks crap, blatantly just a theme chucked on and made red and white. Someone at the club needs educating on the modern Internet.

It's seriously embarrassing.

It might look nice to some but trust me (I work in digital marketing) this is piss poor. Why are they boasting about it being 'responsive'? Sounds like the sales guy at Realise (is this a Sheffield based agency?) kept talking about that as though it's special. It's unusual not to see a responsive website now.

I'm not putting down the club, just think they've been had.
 
Don't say they paid top whack with a central London agency?

Sheffield United haven't, the EFL (having been locked into the last one for stupid amounts of time with poor terms), have signed a contract with them until 2022/23 season.
 
First impressions not great: Home page slider and footers absolutely massive for no apparent reason. Thought I'd accidentally set my browser to 150% at first. Looks a bit better at 75%
 
doesn't seem to be anywhere to sign in with the old customer ID numbers, like you would to buy tickets etc.
edit: just found that https://www.sufc.talent-sport.co.uk is still valid for that

Although it has to be said that link is tucked away somewhat.


Should also point out that the ticketing website is still insecure as fuck, 2 1/2 years since i first mentioned it to them. They said they would have the issues fixed by Mar 2015.
 

I'm no computer geek, but quick scan of it, I like it. I'm simple though.

Far quicker and easier to navigate from me perspective. Maybe be a little sterile, but if an external company is building it then it willl all be built on the same platform with different colours (maybe). Similar to football kits. It's the way of the world nowadays.

and what you think, as an end user of the site, is far more important than what a computer geek thinks :-)

There is a new ticketing system being introduced this summer. Not sure if it will sort out this issue though :)
 
As with gernerally all SUFC design,media and marketing outputs. Worst thing i remember was the kit launch of 14/15 with fabian brandy sportig the kit against an illuminous fireball background.

Designers/developers need sacking

Yes, I get that too. Hopefully it'll work later today. They've put the youth final up, but nobody will be able to watch it yet.
 

Try doing a password reset, incase the import didn't go as well as anticipated.

Password reset worked for me, anyone else having problems viewing all content? I've got a current Bladesplayer account until September but it's still asking me to subscribe to see some content :(
