Blackwell on RS says he along with Speed and the headscout are attending Premier League matches in order to bring in a striker before Cardiff.
Camara is unavailable to to a groin injury down to the bare bones.
Boy did they ever blow it going with such a small squad.

Have heard that it might be Victor Anichebe who needs games for fitness at Everton.

Yes, it's a shambles. Every time we get an injury we have to bring someone else in on loan.

We've sold our 4 best players in the last 12 months and have the 3rd biggest crowds in the Championship yet for some reason we still can't afford a decent sized squad. McCabe needs to get a grip & sort it out.

If we are short of strikers I can think of one that has bagged 16 this season that "might do a job for us"

Then again Blackwell may be able to land a PL striker with 16 goals under his belt

What's the point in actually going to the games? Any striker that will be coming to us, will almost certainly be at best a serial bench-warmer.

Is Beattie injured at the moment? James obviously....

Bertbatov were on the bench yesterday, maybe its him, be great to hear Blacky shouting at him "to run the channels"

Yeah thats what we need, another Loan Striker to sit up front and have nothing created for him...

Aye, i was at that game. He was stretchered off. Suprised he started.
Wasn't he rumoured to be going to Wednesday at the start of the season?

Didn't he have falling out with Moyes over something in pre-season, and I think he was pulled in by the 'Old Bill' just for looking in a jewellers window somewhere in Cheshire too.

Must be the sign of the times but I was certain we play Cardiff tomorrow (Tuesday), what Premiership games will they be going to?

As I understand it, we cannot recall Sharp as he's on loan until the end of the season. Otherwise I'm sure we would have done by now.

Aren't we playing on Wednesday?

The interview could have been recorded, Kozzy which would open up the Sunday games for inspection. Wolves play the cheats tomorrow but all this is irrelevant because our dear leader is blowing smoke again.

Let's see, he's watching premier league games to see if we can loan a striker who is actually playing a premier league game? Playing for his team in the prem and available for loan?

Am I on a different fucking planet here or what?

I'm pretty sure they're watching the reserves. When asked whether it would be a young Premier League striker (ie. someone not currently in the first team), Blackie said "Yes, as anyone would be better than no-one".

Under normal circumstances five strikers would be more than enough (if you count Ward and Cresswell as strikers). I don't think we've often had more than 5 in the first team squad.

The Cardiff game is on Wednesday I see, not tomorrow, presumably because Cardiff played yesterday. Maybe they've picked up a few injuries too?

Cheers, why is everyone playing on Wednesday rather than Tuesday? (I drove past the Wednesday ground today and saw they were playing then too)

A bigger squad on the same budget would just mean more Jordan Stewarts on the pitch when injuries strike.

There's no silver bullet unless your name is Abramovic.
Do they have Werewolves at Stamford Bridge, then?

Cardiff played Sunday because of the rugby so Uniteds game against them and Watfords against Wendy put back 24 hours.
