We should just 'let go' of the fact the owner of the club has made an utter mess of pretty much everything, including his management of Wilder which was the starting point for where we are now?
Are you related ?

I am hurting at the moment I really am , but give slav time, he watches them all week in training and must realise what poor quality he has inherited, at the end of the season we loose I think it's 8 player's including the loan player's I think fleck and Norwood will be bombed out along with a few others
This is a major rebuild I think we can all agree that
I admit I was one of those who thought he would sort it with a few loan player's and at least hit the top 6
Wilder gave us some fantastic years but needs to realise how much shit he has left this club in with his stubborn attitude and panic buys I think I would rather he had not bought brewster and McBurnie and WFT he was thinking swopping Burke for Robinson

Just gonna be honest here...I don't know what the fck to think other than I'm genuinely worried. No communication or words from the top, an utter shit show on the pitch almost every game now. No emotion or anger or apparent change of formation/set up from Slav. Players either incapable or unwilling to adapt to style of play. January 8 long weeks away where untold damage results wise is a possibility.
January, where do you start? Slav says he want 2 wingers and a holding midfielder...if he hasn't noticed we're not very good at the back. At least 2 midfielders for me, at the back I'd go 3CBs just to try and plug the leeks short term. Egan is a shadow of his previous self in a 2. We need a leader, a wily fckr, a bit of spit and polish. We're soft very un SUFC. Ok I agree with a winger. Inject a bit of pace, somewhere, anywhere. We need a striker, I know we've 40 odd on the books already but apart from Billy and occasionally Mousset..but he's overdue another hiatus from action any time soon. The deadwood and expensive flops...no idea..Berge has Mousse-itis, Brewster shouldn't be anywhere near a start, Mcburnie obviously doesn't have a future with Slav. I'm giving Olsen benefit of the doubt for now as playing behind that defence isn't ideal..ask Ramsdale.
I said I had no idea but I've rambled a bit there but it's worrying...from the 4 years of blades together etc, the success we had, the oh so familiar feeling of despair is creeping in rapidly. Unless some kind of change, be that results, performance, attitude, set up...whatever...this winter at BDTBL could be very ugly.
UTB....Always

I'd have wilder back tomorrow, don't care what anyone says
Some of the best times ever. Just a shame we had a pandemic and fans not allowed because I'm sure things would have been different if we had been there
I would too but he ain’t coming back and you have to be annoyed at him for leaving us with McB, Brewdog and Burke - that was 3 of the worst footballing decisions ever to be made at BDBL.

He walked out through the back door 🚪 get over it. He's also had a massive hand building the incompetent squad you see before your very eyes. Die hard blade 😆😅😅😅

Hopefully he gets Middlesborough job and he can save us once more by coming in for brewster OMB and forrest burke..

Knowing him he'll Skillfully avoid them and take Egan, Bash and Ndyie.. Cus we'll need the money.

Just about sums up what a lot of us dare not think, my worry is has SJ got the room to manoeuvre, a lot of the squad may prove hard to move on, HRH may have to prepare himself to take some hits, whilst the vultures may be circuling to have our pants down, so it may have to be. Keep the faith, but it's becoming increasingly harder.

Boro have a Chairman who is a football man and has bankrolled the club for years within limits. They already have a decent squad so I think Wilder will do for them what he did with us. Remember, his burnout at BL is the only blot in a long career.

Think yo
There was a post earlier about being poor today. It said the football was far better under Wilder when we were losing. Presumably that didn’t include last season.

The rewriting of history by some of our fanbase is laughable.
Think you have to factor in the calibre of opposition we were playing last season, compared to this.
Just for historical accuracy, you understand.

Are you forgetting he’s the reason we’re in this mess? He signed the lot of them!
Some bad signings, some good signings, pretty much like any manager out there.
I'm struggling to believe the quality of squad we have is bottom six Championship.

I’m struggling to see the good signings?
Burke, Freeman, McBurnie, both Robinsons, Brewster, Osborn, Lowe, all crap. Jury’s still out on Berge.

Given you've listed little more than half a team for a manager who was in for nearly five years there might be a reason why you're not seeing any good signings.
Seems to me Steve Gibson is likely to have a far greater legacy as a football club owner than our current owner but we'll see.

Pretty much the same as the season before.
It does make that season, and his achievement in guiding us to 9th in the Prem, all the more impressive.
However, again for historical correctness, it wasn’t really pretty much the same as the season before, was it?we played nearly all our games with no fans in the stadium, and with a raging pandemic causing havoc which caused all kinds of problems, and hit us more than most.

Correct, if it wasn’t for that twat signing his players we would still be in relative safety in league 1, I curse the day he ever took over and took us from those great days.

Well the players are still playing in front of 27000 plus crowds at home and most are in shite form. How many more excuses for them.

More than most? The crowd thing? See above.

We’ll he’s gone now get over it, he’s wasted over £100 mil on absolute crap.

Slav will be managing Equitorial Guinea u21s by the end of the season

You mean the one who wasted the best part of £100m, ruined the club for years and walked out with a £4m pay off?

Thank God CW has got another job, hopefully we can all get on with focussing on our own team and hoping that SJ can get them properly organised,

One thing I would like to know is whether there is any actual evidence that CW got a £4m pay-off. It keeps getting repeated on here but is there anything to it other than what at the time appeared to be a rather sly insinuation by the owner that was clearly intended to make a departing manager look bad?
