Who would win us something?? Nobody cos in my lifetime I'll never see us win jack... We may gain promotion a few times but as for winning owt it's never gonna happen! Winning is coming 1st in a comp. As for Sven I'd rather have a world class manager than someone who's won nothing or achieved nothing, svens managed on the biggest stages.

None of the above fill up my senses. But then I'm glad I'm not the one(s) with the actual choice. There is no such thing as a nailed on successful managerial appointment in football or any other sphere. You pays your money and you takes your chance. How many wanted Dave Bassett when he was appointed. I doubt there was a great groundswell of opinion that wanted John Harris when he was appointed. In the end it's luck and patience. How close was Fergie to the sack at Manure? If he had got the sack before all the success and we were looking for a manager, would we have welcomed him, or would we have said no thanks, he's a failure?
