I may have missed any comments, but in case it's not been spoken about I wondered if any of our players have passed an opinion on the Desso pitch? Curious to know exactly how it may/will have contributed to the way we're playing, and to what degree has it played it's part in the players Wilder has recruited?

We had the Desso as well last sesson remember?

I put our good play down to Chris Wilder rather than the grounds man

What a waste of money that pitch was, we could've bought half a John Brayford for that

pommpey !!!!!!!!!!!!;)

Let me rephrase......yes, I was aware that the pitch was part of Clough's plans, he was shown the door, we then brought in someone who seemed adrift, and then Wilder took over. Given the way the team is playing, my question was, do the players feel it helps having this type of pitch to play on? Last season was a mess best forgotten, and we had different players who clearly weren't as good as the ones we currently have.........so, with that made clear, I'd like to know if the player's Wilder has signed feel that the pitch contribute to the football they play?

I will add, when the pitch was first talked about we had a less than decent team, so clearly opinions would have been raised as to the reasons why we felt it worth spending a million pounds on a pitch when the team we had were so poor. Now that's not the case, and we have a manager and players who are far better, so, back to the original question..........anyone know what the players think?

Looks in great nick.

Pigs is looking good, love the chairmans name being wrote on the seats, shows him to be in touch with the fan base and not an ego maniac.

Love how the pigs daren't say what they really think in case they upset the pig mafia over on Porktalk who are shit scared of upsetting the money man.

Change the shirts to a copycat Ipswich, not a problem.

Change the badge, not a problem.

Remove the budgie emblem on the seats in favour of his name, not a problem.

You couldn't make up :D

Saw a pig fan in Asda the other day with the new shirt on. Said to the wife "seem to be seeing a lot of Ipswich fans lately" loud enough for him to hear ;)

He snorted something but I don't do pig talk and had a big grin on my face every time I saw him down the aisle :D

Just read that he's putting his name everywhere to get around ffp rules, so that he can claim to be sponsoring everything and put more of his own cash into the club.

Doesn't make sense to me that, he can increase sponsorship without having his name in 10 foot letters across the stand
