With all the debate on the new kit, I just thought I'd ask a simple question, will you buy it?

I'm in the 'Yes' vote as I think it's a really nice kit and to have it for one season to commemorate our history is no issue for me. Plus the normal red and white stripes will be back in a years time.

Be interesting to get the general consensus as to how many will/won't buy it.

Definitely, I'd have pre-ordered it yesterday but I'm waiting for the club to email me my password.

Need a second poll for shorts and socks. As I understand it the club have stated we will be wearing black shorts and socks. If that true we will hardly have any visible red on our kit:(

It's the wrong question. You should ask is this an appropriate home kit design . I quite like it for away matches

Exactly. I, like many of my generation, wouldn't buy it even if I loved it, as I just don't buy football shirts.

I like the design as an away shirt. But it is not an appropriate home shirt for Sheffield United.

I purposely didn't ask the question Eskimo raised as that debate is burning in the other thread about the new kit.

Obviously the club said the current shirt was the fastest selling in Blades history and I just wanted to gauge opinion on whether or not people would buy the new one.

How can we say it's not our home shirt when apparently it is, unless the fans have a say what can we do, what we see is what we get, like the football of late, so yes I would buy it. Not over amazed by the thin strips but hey nobody likes change.

I really like it. It's an affectionate acknowledgement of our history. And don't forget, the history it acknowledges was a damned sight more successful than our more recent past.

Would I buy it? I've already got one. Well, the sweatshirt anyway. The only time I've worn it to a match was the Cup semi-final last season...I hope to wear it to Wembley again this season and maybe...just maybe...

I like it, something different, still red (almost) and white (a lot of). Might get one if finances allow. HB Jnr does not like it and does not want one. And this difference is reflected in the poll. But strong opinions always better than indifference. Marmite or margarine?
