Because anything is preferable to Kasabian...

It was only recently I realised, well a couple of years ago or so, that Kasabian was the middle name of one of the camp followers of the Helter Skelter family and took part in some of their horrific crimes.
It put me off them, it really did.

Spitfire is an absolute banger.

What about a nice positive, blood-pumping "Welcome to today's visitors to BDTBL" from Gary Sinclair, dressed all in red and introducing a bit of Marilyn!

Think of the merchandising spin-off's in the club shop!

UTB

I would go back a few years to Lynn Anderson's "Rose Garden".
We used that at the beginning of the 70s.

I BEG YOUR PARDON?

I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime
When you take, you gotta give, so live and let live and let go, oh, oh, oh, oh
I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden

I could promise you things like big diamond rings
But you don't find roses growin' on stalks of clover
So you better think it over
Well, if sweet talking you could make it come true
I would give you the world right now on a silver platter
But what would it matter?
So smile for a while and let's be jolly; love shouldn't be so melancholy
Come along and share the good times while we can

I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine there's gotta be a little rain sometime
I beg your pardon I never promised you a rose garden

I could sing you a tune and promise you the moon
But if that's what it takes to hold you I'd just as soon let you go
But there's one thing I want you to know
You'd better look before you leap; still waters run deep
And there won't always be someone there to pull you out
And you know what I'm talking about
So smile for a while and let's be jolly; love shouldn't be so melancholy
Come along and share the good times while we can

I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine, there's gotta be a little rain sometime

I beg your pardon, I never promised you a rose garden
Along with the sunshine, there's gotta be a little rain sometime
Very sad

Thank you Pete Murray.......

I’d like Prince Abdullah to do a live, acappela version of The Smiths - Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now.

🎶 He failed to accept Winkel as a D.O.F
And heaven knows I’m miserable now
Chris wanted no Sales but we‘ve got to have Sales
And heaven knows I’m miserable now

Michael Jackson - They Don't Care About Us

Rousing music, and a befitting song title for us long suffering Blades

PS - it used to be the opening title music on Hallam FM's matchday coverage back when they had the rights and Steve Banyard did the commentaries

Not miserable enough.

None - A World, Dead and Gray (from the album Life Has Gone on Long Enough)

Well, if we are determined to embrace the darkness and really do love the smell of sombre angst in the morning then how about My Dying Bride's monumental 'The Cry Of Mankind.' 'My Hope, The Destroyer' anyone?
