New away shirt?

Sheffield United will play in a white and claret shirt for next season's away games according to kit manufacturer Macron...
On Macron's website it presents every shirt for every club who they produce kits for, and opposite United's home shirt it shows a white top with a claret lining on the front and the sleeves (right).

The club haven't revealed any information regarding the new away kit as of yet, but Macron have published this image on their site.

Yesterday (Saturday) the home strips went on sale, and next September season ticket holders from last season who renewed this time around will receive a commemorative black shirt which will be used as United's third kit, it also includes every player's name who has donned on the red and white stripes of United.

i've had a look on Macron.com and i can't even find uniteds home shirt displayed?? They do like a white away shirt though it must be said.

Looks ok though! It'd be nicer if the claret was black or Red.

OR Yellow shirt with Red, that would be like the away shirts we used to have.

Perhaps not. Shame, as I was rather hoping for a yellow shirt and red shorts, but it's not bad. I've got the new home shirt and I'll get the third shirt when it comes out for free anyway, so it's not like I was going to buy the away one anyway most likely!

1979, 1983, 1986, 1991 away shirts are all yellow & red. The 1986 one with the red and white upper panel is one of my all time favourites.

The majority of our away kits over the years were yellow. More recently they turned white. They should keep revert back to Yellow in my opinion.

Anyone else agree??

It does look nice, if that is to be our new away kit. Certainly more aesthetically pleasing than the home strip, that's for sure.

I loved the away kit we had for the 07/08 season.

It wasn't too bright, and it was really nice on the eye. I'd be happy if we had an away kit similar to that for the 09/10 season.

Although the proposed design does looks alright.

They've took it off now, whats going on?? I think it was a prototype that got placed in the wrong section.

Surely after everything that went on with West Sham & then losing to Burnley McCabe wouldn't allow Claret?? Plus, Blackwell comes from the school of Warnock where superstition is drummed into you at an early age.

I don't think it'll end up being claret, if that was the design that the away kit will look like. If it is to be that design, I think it'll be red, rather than claret.
