Perhaps Mr Wilson should use the DVD of that match as an example of bottle, determination, guts and heart

Or maybe the DVD of the one where they beat Burton earlier in the competition, just as a reminder of what can happen if you decide to play every game instead of picking and choosing.

I like that phrase.

It's funny, but one of the things that I dread is a former player coming back and getting stick (especially a forward) as you know the worse the abuse the greater the chance that they're going to score.
Part of the game is has always been sticking it up your detractors and celebrating like a banshee. Are the players so pathetic these days that they just curl up and weep instead? Was Paddy Kenny the last of the "fuck you" brigade with his faultless performance in Hoofy's last game?

Oh no, opposition fans' booing you means they fear you. A mentally strong player will often thrive on it.

Our lads being booed by their own fans doesn't quite have the same effect. :)

Show them the DVD of Bradford at home to Crewe.
