Sky are reporting he's left.

I wish him all the best and thank him for doing a great job over the last 7 years.

The club overall are in great shape and we do have loads to build on.

Thanks Neil.

we had some good times and in many ways he is the typical Blade. You can't fault his commmitment and passion, but the time is definitly right for a parting of the ways. See ya Neil and Thanks

Thank you and goodbye Neil :)

There have been events during your tenure which will live extremely long in the memories for many Blades.

Increased attendance and a quality squad... your lasting achievements I reckon.

Overall a good time here. Moved the club forward, improved the squad and leaves a lasting legacy.

A new person may well take them to the next level that just eluded Neil.

Will go down as one of the Blades greats.

Thankyou and best wishes for whatever you choose to do (take the L**ds job and stuff 'em proper please :D)

Thanks Neil, you'll always be a Blades legend to me, and I'll never forget what you've done for the club. I'm glad the parting is amicable, enjoy the rest of your career and then your retirement.

Thank's Neil, been a rollercoaster ride of emotions!

Wish him all success in the future. But its time to move on and i do think its for the best. The future starts now.

Worked miracles during his reign as manager but the time is right for a shake up.

Thanks for the cup runs, Michael Brown, promotion, Cardiff (not the result) and the Premiership. I dare not think where we would be now if he had not joined the club when he did.

thanks neil took the club a long long way since joining, but was time to move on cup runs promtion play offs and almost avoiding relegation did a good job.

First with all the news :D

Sooo, what you all thinking?

Many Blades calling for his head weeks ago?

Still supporting these views?

Who you wanting?

Sad he's leaving or happy?

eto be honest im thinking what should i have for my dinner lol

i wasnt calling for his head weeks ago just after the wigan game and realising just how tactically inept he is.Happy he is leaving but also a little sad it was time for him to move on so we can move forward but is sort of end on an era.I'd like coleman or mourinhos assistant whos name has gone oh steve clark

edit: george burley and billy davies

Been a great manager of the club and will be up there with the best in our history surely.

Think he needed to go really, for him and the club.

Best of luck to Neil and Up The Blades!

Cheers neil, never your biggest fan but in the 7 years you have turned this club around.

Thanks.

thanks alot sir warnock! done fantastic for us!

Well done to him for turning the club around.

Think this was the best thing for him to do.

Im happy he has gone now.

ive called for him to be sacked weeks ago, he was out of his league in the prem, his tactics and signings are left wanting.

But......

hats off to him, the next manager has a hard act to follow.

He's turned us round really from relegation battle to pushing for promotion with little money. had a good laugh at his antics and made me smile many times.

Will always remember him for after the game... going to the kop and throwing his fist in the air!

Worthy of a legend status?

Goodbye Neil and thanks for all the memories, the good times and the bad times. Whoever takes over next has got massive shoes to fill. I hope he gets one of our stands named after him one day.

Very ironic how the press conference is held in front of the board showing promotion pictures!!

Thank You very much, Mr Warnock for everything. Thank you for making our club so big, thank you for bringing our attendences to a high, thank you for exciting the fans week in week out, thank you for bollocking every referee and linesman to come to this ground (my God they need it), thank you for your entertainment on and off the pitch daily, thank you for having time to speak to each and every one of us at numerous events.

I have never shaken my head at you, and yes I'd have liked you to have stayed but the future has to happen and it appears than seven and half years is enough and so be it. The Blades will always be in your heart (so if you have to play us with your new club then please, 3pts would be lovely).

Good luck with everything you do - the combination of yourself, Stuart McCall and my god Kevin McCabe (I bow before thee) has changed this club amazingly.

God Bless and Good Luck
