Neil Lennon as Wilder’s successor?

Coming from a Celtic supporting family, the last thing we want is Neil Lennon

Sending a team out "to try to not get beat" might be ok for us away at Man City

It's not acceptable for Celtic at home to Hamilton Academicals

Just imagine what he'd be like at a lesser club

Yeah, the directors were impressed by how Lennon set up his plucky underdogs Celtic in their battling narrow defeat to Ross County at the weekend and said "yep, he's our man...."
If you're manager of Celtic or Rangers and find yourselves 18points behind the other, you're not lasting long are you.

Absolutely not.

My mate's a big Celtic fan, we went up there on average 3 times a season pre-covid and the standard of football under Lennon was fucking dire, even by Scottish standards.

I'd be more worried that Chris Wilder will be Neil Lennon's successor.

indeed - would be a great choice for them - him and knilly used to commute to Northampton some of the time which is doable..........Glasgow a tad far to commute (hopefully) !

UTB

Has Chris resigned?

Ridiculous thread.
But that's not even the most ridiculous point! Terrible manager and terrible human looking to replace the guy who is, at worst, in the top three managers in our history and an all-round good guy. Head's gone.

He’s won trophies!

You can only beat what's in front of you, etc. But he has only won the SPL in his own managerial right when 1) Rangers were docked points, 2) Rangers weren't in the league, 3) the season was culled and the trophy awarded before all the matches had been played out. This despite having a phenomenally superior budget (doubtful the same will be the case next year, but up to now it has been). He's a fraud of a manager and only got the gig (both times) because of being a 'Celtic man'.

NB, just realised I could have also just finished that reply at "he has only won the SPL" and it would have a similar impact

Cuz he did great at Bolton and Hibs didn’t he. I’d rather the Prince manage the team than Neil freakin Lennon
