If you fail and he plays another season in the Championship then lets hope a very disgruntled player can maintain the form he showed last season.

With due respect Pinchy, there will be £20 million plus add ons on the table or he’ll be with us for a while yet. I also told you you wouldn’t get him unless you did want to pay that much when you said he’d be yours for £15 million. Hasn’t happened has it. Banana called it 100% which we all knew with his contacts at the club. Anyway enough of the chatter. Again, sincerely hope you do OK and stay up.

It was £20 million a few pages back, now it's £20 million + add on's? No chance he is still with you come August the 9th. Maybe he won't come to us, but no chance that he turns down all the interested Premiership clubs in favour of staying at Brentford.

See Bananas posts it’s as good as from the top within Brentford. We always have add ons to our player sales. We’re hoping Tarkowski goes to Leicester for £40 we will pocket another £10 million or about on top of the £6 million we got from Burnley.

I meant the 20m plus add ons. Has bananaman ever said that it would take 20m plus add and sell ons? Or just that we haven’t made a bid? Just asking Dave?

Must be with add ons as we agreed an initial fee of 11/12 million.

But the problem with proving Banana ITK reputation is that they are not provable.
It’s based on what appears in the news papers, which as we know can be publicity stunts to save face.
If we bought NM tomorrow, our papers might say 15 million plus add-ons taking it over 20 million.
BFC would release to their local papers that they sold for 20 million plus add-ons, so how can you prove who is right?

Where as Richard Cadette’s ITK reputation is based on coming up with leftfield random names that have never appeared anywhere in the media
Or the latest media reports will say xxx is signing for SU and he’ll be the first to say it’s not happening.
He also explains why deals broke down and provides info that only someone at negotiator, director, Chris Wilder level could know.

To be honest “in the knowers” are pretty much ridiculed on here. We simply don’t believe them because there are so many imposters wanting to be popular.
However regards RC he’s been accurate almost every single time, which is impressive, so has earned the respect.

It’s OK because it would be a massive novelty.
The last time we had a big name from abroad was probably Alex Sabella and that was only because Argentina had just won the World Cup.
Also it kind of shows that the Prince might have suddenly found some enthusiasm regards our club.

Is that why you allowed him home to get used to the idea that he has to stay because if anyone was willing to pay that much he would have been gone by now

I mean good luck with that because if your not top 3 come end of Xmas then your not getting near that amount

The club tracking/chasing players for extended periods of time and protracted threads on here aren't necessarily connected. The club have been tracking Mousset for >2years, and have tried to sign Robinson for >1 year etc. The reason why they've not had 100+ pages on here is testament to how little leaks out of the club these days - quite a step-change from the bad old days when every man and his dog knew we were trying to sign Dan Burn (who I'm reliably informed was the only target Adkins had in Jan which somewhat shocked the hierarchy).
 
Why do Brentford fans keep clinging to the £20m price tag?
It sounds like we have sorted the figure with Brentford (which will be nowhere near £20m) but he's/the agent is waiting for other offers ie higher wages.
 
Regarding all that Brentford stuff a few pages ago, I’ll cop to doing some things that people think are quite boring. But never in my life have I thought, I’m a bit bored, I’ll log onto another team’s forum and get involved in a multi-page argument.

Roy’s motives are the only ones that are acceptable.
