Of course, many on here don't believe him, so I just thought I'd link to today's local paper which supports his claims, not those of your ITK's.

I can understand that as a novice to this forum you won't be familiar with the protocols, or behaviour patterns, of regular posters.

Many of us are far too busy to devote time to the posts of other Blades, so considering that you and other Brentford posters are what might politely be called interlopers, you'll forgive us for not prioritising you as vital or important. In context, the words and 'wisdom' of most Bees (of course there's the occasional post from a Brentford supporter that contains worth) quickly become the Forum equivalent of fish and chip paper. Surely you can put your egos to one side and understand this?

Reality is someone our end has offered specific info without ever saying it’s a done deal and there seems to be more in it than anything you or anyone else has offered so far

Nothing wrong with disagreeing but to come on saying someone else is talking nonsense and then offering nothing else really does not appear to be credible

Suddenly, you’re moving closer to the amount the club want. Last week you were very confident you'll get him for £15 million. Keep up the good work, next week you just might at the £20 million mark. whatever makes you think he’s a disaffected player. It’s his agent who’s being an arse.

If Liverpool/Man Utd/ Barca whoever came in and offered 10 million he is gone, doesn’t matter what you negotiate he is gone and it won’t be anywhere near 20!

Nothing you could do, you won’t keep an unhappy player and he won’t just accept your not doing business and move on

And we all surely know that, the only reason this is still going is because either we are the only ones serious and we know we can move on if we don’t get him or he is 4th or 5th option for other teams who know they will walk in week before your season starts and you will take 16 or 17 with add ons
