Aye, I hear you. Don’t get us wrong, it’s genuinely useful to hear from someone in the know on the other side. And I think a lot of us here instinctively like Brentford. I just think we’ve been bemused by the weirdly arrogant attitude of the many Bees fans who joined the forum. Might not have been you, I’m too far gone to remember now. We’ve had fans on from teams of players we’ve been trying to sign and it’s always been civil. Anyway, we are where we are, it is what it is, etc etc.

We are all fans of football, and between forums there's been some shyte banded sound between posters.. I'm sure everyone has each clubs best interests at heart. There's also been some banter and puts taking, but remember that most of us are adults and love our respective clubs, I'm pretty sure if any poster goes on another clubs site, they would expect to be treated and responded to like they would like to be spoken to themselves. Whatever happens with MorePay.. Who is actually ITK other than CWAK. Respect has to go to fellow fans, whichever team they follow.

Ive got no beef with you or your club, I actually think you're a decent outfit. I don't even want maupay, I'd prefer mcburnie.
I just don't get why you see it your duty to give us your side of the itk story. Neither do I get excited when rc posts. I wait for the official site.
I think you crave attention. And i dont get that.

I’m more than happy to offer and show respect, like others on here I like your club, decent team, Red and White stripes etc etc

It’s just the continued refusal to show anything whilst suggesting that some on our side are talking shit

Not asking you to name sources or even divulge who you are but come on if you want us to take your word that a trusted source on here is talking shit then simply offering nothing other than he just is etc is hard to take without pinch of salt
 
Getting tedious this isn't it? I come on here everyday to see if we're any nearing to signing Maupay and all I see is folks arguing with each other about stuff.

I think I might go back to bed till sometime around the middle of next week, when it will become apparent whether Maupay is joining us or joining someone else. Then we can all be happy and celebrate or call him a money-grabbing **** and start arguing again.
 
Only thread where I can skip past 5 pages to latest page and not feel like I've missed anything at all. No significant updates, just a looping debate with the exact same content over and over. It's like Groundhog day when you click back on this thread. I have nothing against Brentford and I thank you Banana for your info whether ITK or not but I will respectfully ask that you leave now you've said your bit. You are providing nothing but fuel for playground insults and petty sarcasm.

Cant compare bees with Bournmouth they have had the support of a Russian billionaire and have bent the rules and got away with it.
I'm a big blade but Brentford have done really well with there business model playing good football too.
As you say yellowbelly it could all go wrong if the model of getting young prospects in goes wrong.
A lot of clubs respect what they have done including us ( Wilder ).

I count myself as another who admires how they pick players up for little and sell for lots, Peterborough were the same for a long time. There does come a point though when it has to be for something more. One of the reasons we are football fans is the often deluded hope that this year “it’s us”. Now obviously most of the time it isn’t but with Brentford you feel that most of their fans don’t think that and it will be another year of much the same. Mind you they will probably outlive us all if it’s true it’s the hope that kills you!!!

Bournemouth was probably a poor choice you’re right but the point remains that smaller clubs can do it and have a chance of staying there if they are willing to take a chance and I’m not talking about the Wednesday way of chance taking either!
 
Does this thread not remind you of the Leonard situation,
that ran and ran with one or two Southend fans taking on the roll of the latest Brentford situation ( Maurpay ).

We got our man in the end let's hope this doesn't drag on the way that did.
