He’s not coming, Bid rejected yesterday.
This would be a ten on the S2 Richter scale![]()
It was on a thread on here, but no longer onWhat’s the evidence he was at the match?
Valencia was similar odds a couple of weeks ago...Is that good?
This is slightly concerning-
Frank has indicated that there has been no approach for striker Maupay, who scored 28 goals last season.

“As a coach you want to keep your best players – always – so yes I want to keep him,” Frank said.
“Approaches? No. That’s the good thing about the structure of the club. I can leave that to (co-directors of football) Rasmus (Ankersen), Phil (Giles) and (club owner) Matthew (Benham). I can have my wishes

Great but I don't quite see it
Missed that Ches, so he was at the match yesterday?
Maupay is exactly the sort of player we should be signing. And with half decent backing from our owners it would probably have been sorted by now.
We can afford him - just fkin pay it.
Just about to post that. It's weird that there are such contrasting views. My guess is that despite what the Brentford manager is saying negotiations have taken place between United and them, maybe more with the agent of Maupa, and who knows, maybe there's a minimum fee release clause in there so we're not worried about negotiations taking long with Brentford.
Well there’s nothing in the article that hasn’t been clear all Summer, that’s for sure.
However, it’s a near certainty we will be recruiting two strikers. We can hardly go with just Sharp, Didsy and one other. It’s a question of who, not how many. We also know Tufty’s preferred choices and that neither appear to be going elsewhere, despite suggestions that McBurnie can’t wait to rejoin a decidedly average former Swansea manager.

There is a picture doing the rounds of a guy with a cap on watching the game. Some says it's Maupay. You can't tell though really.
Spending money comes with the territory when you own a football club. McCabe has held the club back for years. Bad decisions, selling almost all our better players, putting pitiful offers in for players. We didn’t even see him when we were struggling but of course he comes to the fore again when things improve. Only he could have created the circumstances that have led to the embarrassing court case. How much are you contributing? Over £100m from Kev. Can you match that?
Your agenda is mind-numbingly tedious. Could you manage, just once, to make a contribution that doesn’t denigrate a man who does more for our club in one day than you will in a lifetime?
I agree Pinchy we need two strikers
What I don't see is the club shelling out £30m for the two
I think with Jags and probably Deanos salaries and we need a couple more signings on top of those, I can't see our budget stretching that far
I've been wrong before (not very often tho) and I hope I'm wrong again
